Minecraft players will also get to vote for a new mob that the developers will work on adding to the game in a future update. Minecraft Live 2023 takes place on Sunday, October 15 at 1pm EDT. Those interested in participating in this year's mob vote will have about two days to do so. Voting opens at 1pm EDT on Friday, October 13 and ends at 1:15pm EDT on Sunday, October 15. Voting will take place within Minecraft: Bedrock Edition itself, the game's website, and the game's launcher. Minecraft fans will have three mobs to choose from, though Mojang isn't revealing the mobs until voting starts. The mob vote winner will be revealed by the time the hour-long Minecraft Live presentation comes to a close.

Minecraft Dungeons is an action-RPG twist on the Minecraft franchise that was first released in 2020. Multiple updates have been released for Minecraft Dungeons post-launch, but it was recently announced that Mojang was no longer going to making anything new for the game. While it may still make some kind of appearance, Minecraft fans shouldn't hold their breath for any big revelations about Minecraft Dungeons at this year's Minecraft Live event.
