In Minecraft Legends, players are able to gain a number of powerful structures and mobs to aid in their defense of the Overworld. The "First Of" Golems and the Power Towers are some particularly strong additions, though they require a few extra steps to gain access to when playing the singleplayer campaign.

Minecraft Legends has three different Power Towers available for players to acquire and utilize during the game. These are the Frost Tower, Blast Tower, and Stun Tower. Each of them has a fantastic range and can prove invaluable in defensive strategies, and this guide will focus on the Stun Tower in particular.

How to Get the Stun Tower

The Stun Tower can be acquired in a single-player campaign by locating an old Stun Tower in the world. These can be found at one of the question mark icons on the map, though there is no guarantee that one will spawn in a given single-player world. If one is found, approaching it will trigger a cutscene where the Hosts explain how it works, and then unlock a new improvement. Constructing the "Improvement: Collect Power Towers" at an Improvement Hub for 100 stone and 100 prismarine. Once built, this improvement allows players to pick up Stun Towers by paying a small amount of Gold and Coal, which can then be placed as the player desires for a small cost of 100 Stone and 100 Coal.

In Multiplayer the Stun Tower can be acquired by building the "Improvement: Build Power Towers", which costs 200 stone and 120 Prismarine, and allows players to construct the Stun Tower for 400 Stone and 600 Coal.

How to Use the Stun Tower

The Stun Tower periodically sounds a bell, creating a large AOE that knocks enemy mobs back and stuns them for a short time. This can stagger enemy charges and leave them scattered and vulnerable to attack from nearby Towers and Mobs, which makes it a fantastic defensive structure when properly supported. A great strategy with this tower is to put it next to the Fountain in a village to stun anything that breaks through the other defenses, supporting it with range-boosted arrow towers and a Carpenter Hut to keep everything topped up on health.

Alternatively, the tried and true Power Tower Strategy of "Put it at a Chokepoint to disrupt incoming enemies" still works a treat with the Stun Tower, and is a good alternative to the more central strategy mentioned above. Just make sure there's a Carpenter Hut nearby to heal it, and that it is suitably defended since Power Towers are expensive and can be lost forever in the single-player campaign.

Minecraft Legends is available for PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
