A Minecraft player made an epic escape after encountering an Enderman. Minecraft is a game famous for the creative constructions made by the game's community. The game is also equally iconic for the procedurally generated sandbox worlds that provide unique adventures.

In over a decade of playing Minecraft, players have seen many new mobs added, expanding the game's universe. One example is the camel, a new mob that will be added to Minecraft in the highly anticipated update 1.20. Mobs in Minecraft are found according to biome and time of day in-game; some of them are friendly and cause no harm. Other mobs, however, do damage and chase the player. Although Minecraft currently lacks a new hostile mob, some mobs of this type have become so iconic that they are known to veteran and novice players alike.

User mahmutseynan shared on Reddit an amusing clip where they panic after encountering an Enderman, one of the mobs that changed Minecraft forever. The player was exploring the Nether, and upon finding the mob they begin an epic escape after being hit a few times by the purple-eyed creature. They pass through dangerous places with great skill, and place blocks to stop the Enderman from passing. Mahmutseynan even gets a brief moment to eat a golden apple and regain some of their HP, which is crucial for the player to successfully escape.

On the official Minecraft subreddit, the clip of mahmutseynan has become a hit with over 2,000 upvotes for entertaining players with the panicked reaction. In their defense, mahmutseynan explains the reason for the desperate escape: this was their first hardcore world. Minecraft players can play on different difficulties: hardcore is the hardest level in all aspects, subjecting players to higher damage from hostile mobs and the risk of permadeath. The player also emphasized the importance of the middle mouse button in Mojang's game. Minecraft has many useful commands and important controls that aid gameplay. The middle mouse button specifically serves to select the type of block the player has in their inventory.

The video shared by mahmutseynan is funny in that the player manages to make an impressive and difficult escape, yet fails to remember to land some critical hits on the Enderman. The Enderman doesn't cause fear in players who already know how to deal with the mob, although it can still surprise newer players. If for some players the Enderman is not so scary anymore, there is no shortage of ideas from the community on how to turn the Enderman back into a nightmare inside Minecraft.

Minecraft is available now for Mobile, PC, PS3, PS4, Switch, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
