Minecraft Dungeons has just received a new piece of DLC. The Howling Peaks DLC gives Minecraft Dungeons players tons of new content, and it is available to enjoy now.
The Howling Peaks DLC focuses on bringing the game to new heights, quite literally. Players can expect new missions that will take them to locations not yet seen, high in the snow-capped and windy mountains. The DLC costs $5.99 USD, but this expansion also comes alongside the new season pass for Minecraft Dungeons. The pass costs $19.99 and will include the next four pieces of DLC, starting with Howling Peaks.
There are a lot of neat things to expect in the Howlin Peaks DLC in Minecraft Dungeons. Along with the aforementioned new missions, the DLC brings a bunch of new mobs to the mix, including goats. The DLC also includes new items that players can collect and add to their gear like clothing and weapons, most of which seem to fit in-line with the brisk mountain-climbing theme.
Minecraft Dungeons reviewed relatively well when it launched earlier this year in the spring. The game takes the beloved Minecraft IP and turns it into a Diablo-style dungeon crawler. The gameplay is designed to both be replayable and fun for those who enjoy the genre, but also be accessible for similar crowds that play and love the standard Minecraft. The added DLC is great because it keeps the game fresh, and it is likely that Mojang and Microsoft will continue to support the game for quite some time.
