Minecraft has earned a reputation as a place to share incredible creations, ranging from recreations of Hogwarts, to any number of smaller projects. The possibilities are pretty much endless, and now, one player has put in the time and effort to recreate the first Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary from Skyrim, one of the game's most iconic locations.

The build is about as accurate as one could hope to get in Minecraft. While it's missing the members of the Dark Brotherhood, the sanctuary features most of the other pieces of iconography, including the Night Mother's coffin, which just so happens to have the Night Mother inside of it. Even the entrance has been recreated with its very own Black Door, which teleports players inside the Sanctuary.

Posted to Reddit by user Branman1234, the Sanctuary is also well scaled, making it seem even more accurate. It would be interesting to see a destroyed version of the Sanctuary, or possibly even a recreation of the Dawnstar Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary, which Skyrim players unlock near the end of the Dark Brotherhood storyline.

The applications of Minecraft haven't ended with things like this Dark Brotherhood build, either. Minecraft is being used to teach kids about diabetes, as well as offering a place for friends to gather during the coronavirus pandemic. With the game being used for so many different things, fans can likely expect it to remain relevant well into the future.

Of course, that's why Minecraft made it into the Video Game Hall of Fame. Truly, the game is a phenomenon, being one of the longest-lasting games of the past few console generations, and its showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Plus, Mojang has continued to support it with updates since launch, adding even more for fans to enjoy well into the future.

It's impossible to tell what fans can expect from Minecraft next, but there will likely be more impressive creations in the game's future. Minecraft modders added PCs to the game, which means that players may soon see even more impressive things added to the game sometime in the future.

Minecraft is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
