As players make their way through the chapters of the remake of Miitopia, they may be wondering what the best composition for their teams will be. There are 14 jobs in Miitopia, and players can  the jobs into hundreds of different combinations, but there are some combinations that work together better than others.

Whether playing the original 3DS version or the Nintendo Switch port of Miitopia, jobs are important. Players will have the opportunity to choose a new job at the beginning of each chapter. This allows players to change the composition of their party every chapter. So as they unlock new jobs, players will be able to change parties around and reconfigure how their party jobs work together. While Miitopia can be beaten with almost any combination of jobs, players may want to have the possible combos to ensure they can easily defeat any enemy that comes their way.

As players move through the about 30-hour long RPG Miitopia and change jobs, they will also want to keep in mind that certain jobs work well with certain personalities. The best personality for the main hero is either cool or kind to work well with the best possible jobs for the main hero.

Best combinations of jobs in Miitopia

Chapter 1 Best Party in Miitopia

After spending some time creating their unique character in the new and improved Mii creator in Miitopia, players will want to choose Thief as their first job for their hero. Thief allows players to only steal items from enemies, but also to attack multiple targets. Along with the thief hero, players will also want:

  • A Warrior to deal massive damage and a lot of health
  • A Mage to deal top DPS with magic spells
  • Another Warrior, another Mage, or a Chef to fill out the party

The large amount of damage that the party will be able to deal to enemies will make quick work of enemies found in Chapter 1 around Greenhorne.

Chapter 2 Best Party

After Miitopia's first chapter is complete, the Dark Lord will lock away the player's power, and a new party composition will be available. For the best Chapter 2 party, players should choose:

  • The hero's best Chapter 2 job is the Cat to steal food from enemies, and the attack Feline Frenzy deals a significant amount of damage
  • A Warrior for high DPS and a lot of HP
  • A Mage for high DPS or a Cleric if players would rather have a healing class
  • A Scientist for multi-target attacks

Chapter 3 Best Party

About halfway through the game, players will have unlocked most of the jobs by this point, giving them a lot more to choose from. But these are the best possible party members for Chapter 3:

  • The hero should be the Flower, which is good with cool personalities and also has multi-target attacks
  • The Princess makes for a great healer for the party for a lot of MP
  • Warrior for DPS
  • Tank for single-target DPS and loads of defense

Chapter 4 Best Party

In Chapter 4, players will have access to one of the two "secret" jobs, the vampire job in Miitopia. This is a very powerful job, and player will want one of these undead critters for their party.

  • The Cat is still the best for both speed and food stealing
  • Warrior for DPS
  • Scientist for multi-targeting
  • Vampire for high overall stats and powerful attacks

Post-Game Best Party

After defeating the Dark Lord, players can continue on, unlocking new items, a new job, and even additional bosses. The best possible combination of all the 14 jobs in the game is:

  • The Cat is still the best for both speed and food stealing or the newly unlocked Miitopia Elf job, which is a jack-of-all-trades job with low speed and low HP
  • Warrior for DPS
  • Scientist for multi-targeting
  • Vampire for high overall stats and powerful attacks

Best Overall Jobs in Miitopia

While the best starting job for the hero is the Thief, the Cat and Elf jobs are much better later down the line. The best overall jobs for teammates are the Warrior and Mage for starters, then include the Scientist for multi-target attacks, the Vampire for power stats, and the Cleric for healing.
