Marvel's Midnight Suns encourages players to explore the Abbey and uncover its many mysteries whenever possible in order to acquire useful items and resources. These range from usable items, to assorted essences, to cosmetics. Ranging from Standing Stone codes to retrieving and replacing some lost dolls, these mysteries add a lot of character to the home base of the team.
In Marvel's Midnight Suns, one mystery that opens up fairly late into the game is the Meteor Mystery. This can be triggered randomly after participating in a stargazing hangout with another hero, seemingly only after they reach a new friendship level and after unlocking at least the first two regions on the Mirror Table.
How to Locate the Meteor Mystery
After a stargazing hangout that triggers this mystery, a cutscene will play showing a meteor crashing down on the Abbey Grounds. This is the indication that this Mystery can now be accessed and completed. Players will now need to head out onto the Abbey Grounds to seek out the Meteor, which is, fortunately, all that is necessary to complete the mystery.
The Meteor itself has crashed down in the Misty Moors region of the Abby Grounds. This area can be accessed by heading out of the Training Yard and then making a right turn. After entering the Misty Moors region, it's fairly easy to spot the Meteor via the smoke coming from it, so just turn right after entering the Misty Moors and look for the smoke coming from somewhere amidst the grass.
Head over to the strangely mechanical-looking "Meteor" and examine it to complete the Meteor Mystery. As an aside, it's possible to find a letter from SWORD indicating that this is likely an alien weapon and that it should be avoided at all costs, but this letter is in an easily missable spot in the library, so we'll just pretend they didn't say that.
As a reward for taking the time to track down this rogue "rock," players will gain Arcane Knowledge, an epic Gamma Coil, and a legendary Green skin tone. A fitting reward for seeking out a suspicious stellar intruder and another mystery solved by the Hunter (& Charlie). As an easy way to snag some very good loot, taking the time to go fetch the Meteor after it crashes is always worthwhile.
