X-men prequel star Michael Fassbender, known for playing Magneto in films including First Class and Days Of Future Past, has proven that he has what it takes to play an iconic Marvel villain. However, while Fassbender has had a chance to to step into the role of Magneto, what would it look like if he were to play Victor von Doom?

A piece of fan artwork from @Skull101ify, attempts to show how that would look. The account has posts for many superhero IPs including the recent Spider-Man film and Superman. Fassbender was an acclaimed actor in the X-men prequel films as the antagonist Magneto so it wouldn't be far-fetched to see the actor in a complex role like Doom.

Doctor Doom is a powerful foe that many of Marvel's greatest heroes have historically had nothing but trouble trying to fight him. Doom is a master of science, magic, and intellect which is what makes him so difficult to fight. Combining the forbidden arts of magic and his technological abilities Doom is able to make tools as well as sorcery that he uses to fight back opponents.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has currently made the world of magic canon thanks to Doctor Strange; the word of advanced scientific technology was made canon thanks to Iron Man. For those that remember, Iron Man and Doctor Strange gave Thanos a very hard time during the final battle of Avengers Infinity War. The might of magic and science is nothing to look past which is what makes Doom dangerous, he wields both.

Michael Fassbender's role as Magneto has no doubt attracted a lot of attention to seeing the actor in the role of another supervillain. The piece clearly displays the actor's likeness with the addition of Doom's iconic face scars and glowing green eyes. Doom is a complex character in the comics so when Disney looks to bring back the Fantastic Four in the MCU, it will take an actor like Fassbender to pull off this emotionally complex character.
