There are 49 Missile Expansions and four Power Bomb Expansions in Metroid Prime Remastered, and players that collect them all will reach the end credits having the ability to carry 250 Missiles and eight Power Bombs. While it is certainly possible to complete the game without earning these capabilities, fans that are interested in 100% completion will need to pick up all the ammunition expansions. Tallon Overworld Missile Expansions

Missile Expansion 1 (Landing Site)

There is a Missile Expansion in a tunnel behind Samus's ship, which players can enter with the help of Metroid Prime Remastered's Morph Ball upgrade.

Missile Expansion 2 (Transport Tunnel B)

Players can find this Missile Expansion under the bridge in the tunnel.

Missile Expansion 3 (Overgrown Cavern)

Metroid Prime Remastered players will run into this Missile Expansion as they roll through the Overgrown Cavern, a hallway that is accessed by riding the Tallon Overworld East elevator. For full clarity, that elevator is found through a Morph Ball tunnel that is dug into the wall of the Save Station in the Chozo Ruins' Reflecting Pool.

Missile Expansion 4 (Frigate Crash Site)

This Missile Expansion is embedded into a wall underwater. Players can reach it by swinging from the Grapple Point closest to the crashed frigate.

Missile Expansion 5 (Biohazard Containment)

Upon reaching this room in the crashed frigate, players should jump into the water and fire one of Metroid Prime Remastered's Super Missiles at a Cordite door to uncover a Missile Expansion.

Missile Expansion 6 (Root Cave)

After obtaining the Grapple Beam in Metroid Prime Remastered, players have the ability to climb within the Root Cave. Fans should activate the X-Ray Visor as they approach the top of this room to reveal a series of invisible platforms that lead to a hidden Missile Expansion.

Missile Expansion 7 (Arbor Chamber)

There is a door at the top of the Root Cave that can be opened with Metroid Prime Remastered's Plasma Beam, and the Arbor Chamber and a Missile Expansion are beyond it.

Missile Expansion 8 (Great Tree Chamber)

Players should get on top of the roots that bisect the Great Tree Hall, equip the X-Ray Visor, and look up to find an invisible platform. This platform can be used to reach a door that leads to the Great Tree Chamber and a Missile Expansion.

Missile Expansion 9 (Life Grove Tunnel)

There is a large half-pipe within the Life Grove Tunnel, and players should use Metroid Prime Remastered's Boost Ball upgrade to get on top of the rock formation that is above it. Fans should then place a Morph Ball Bomb on this formation to open a path to the Missile Expansion.

Chozo Ruins Missile Expansions

Missile Expansion 10 (Main Plaza)

Players can use Boost Ball on the Main Plaza's half-pipe to reach a ledge with a Missile Expansion.

Missile Expansion 11 (Main Plaza)

After passing through the Training Chamber, a room that is home to several of Metroid Prime Remastered's Chozo Ghosts, fans will find themselves on a platform that overlooks the Main Plaza. A Missile Expansion is on a platform directly across the room, and players can use the Grapple Beam to reach it.

Missile Expansion 12 (Main Plaza)

There is a tree near the door leading to the Ruins Entrance. Fans should fire a Super Missile at its large knot to reveal a Missile Expansion.

Missile Expansion 13 (Ruined Nursery)

There is a Morph Ball tunnel carved into the wall of the Ruined Nursery, and players can grab a Missile Expansion by passing through it. Notably, fans will need to enter the tunnel from the bottom and use one of Metroid Prime Remastered's Morph Ball Bombs to destroy a block before they can reach the collectible.

The second Missile Expansion in this room can be revealed by shooting a Missile at the wall below the door leading to Totem Access.

Missile Expansion 16 (Ruined Shrine)

There is a half-pipe in the Ruined Shrine that players can climb with the Boost Ball upgrade. On one side, fans will find a tunnel that leads directly to a Missile Expansion.

Missile Expansion 17 (Ruined Shrine)

Players that survey the walls of the arena where they battled the Plated Beetle will find a weakness that can be destroyed with a Morph Ball Bomb. This action will reveal a Morph Ball tunnel, and there is a Missile Expansion at its end.

Missile Expansion 18 (Vault)

This Missile Expansion sits in an enclosure at the center of the Vault, and players will need to place Morph Ball Bombs inside three slots to access it. These slots can be found on the side of the Vault closest to the door leading to the Main Plaza, and fans will need to perform an aerial Morph Ball jump to reach the highest one.

Missile Expansion 19 (Ruined Fountain)

There is a Spider Ball Track on the ceiling in the Ruined Fountain that leads to a Missile Expansion. To reach this track, players should simply use Morph Ball and enter the fountain.

Missile Expansion 20 (Gathering Hall)

At the top of the Gathering Hall, players will find a door leading to the East Atrium. Players can get on the platform above this door by standing on one of the nearby red lights and using Metroid Prime Remastered's Space Jump Boots, and they should use a Morph Ball Bomb to destroy the wall and reveal a Missile Expansion.

Missile Expansion 21 (Watery Hall Access)

Players should shoot a Missile at the wall at the bottom of the stairs in this hallway to reveal a Missile Expansion.

Missile Expansion 22 (Watery Hall)

There is an underwater alcove within the Watery Hall, and players should enter it and use Metroid Prime Remastered's Gravity Suit to reach a Missile Expansion.

Missile Expansion 23 (Burn Dome)

The Burn Dome is the room in which players obtain the Morph Ball Bomb, and they can use one of these Metroid Prime Remastered weapons on a weakness in the wall to access a Missile Expansion.

Missile Expansion 24 (Furnace)

Players should begin by placing one of Metroid Prime Remastered's Power Bombs beneath the Spider Ball Track on the Furnace's ceiling. Fans should use the half-pipe that is revealed by that explosion to reach the track and then follow it to a Missile Expansion.

Missile Expansion 25 (Dynamo)

Players can obtain the first Missile Expansion in this room simply by hitting the metal circle on the right with a Missile.

Missile Expansion 26 (Dynamo)

The second Missile Expansion in the Dynamo is found at the end of the room's Spider Ball Track, to which players can attach after they have obtained Metroid Prime Remastered's Spider Ball upgrade.

Missile Expansion 27 (Crossway)

The first step toward earning this Missile Expansion is firing a Super Missile at the Cordite wall hang that is near the Chozo Lore entries. This action will reveal a scan point, and interacting with it will cause a Spider Ball Track to appear. Players must now use the room's half-pipe to access that track and then place a Morph Ball Bomb in the slot at its end. This will cause yet another Spider Ball Track to materialize, and fans that place a Morph Ball Bomb inside its slot will have the opportunity to ride a lift to the collectible.

Missile Expansion 28 (Training Chamber Access)

As players pass through Training Chamber Access, they should be on the lookout for a tree with red leaves. This tree hides a Morph Ball tunnel, which can be used to reach a Missile Expansion.

Magmoor Caverns Missile Expansions

Missile Expansion 29 (Storage Cavern)

After entering the Triclops Pit by way of the Pit Tunnel, players should drop and turn around to find an alcove. There is a Morph Ball hole in this alcove that fans can use to get under the room's grate, and they will find a hole that leads to the Storage Cavern and a Missile Expansion as they explore.

Missile Expansion 30 (Triclops Pit)

The path to this Missile Expansion also begins at the Triclops Pit's entrance, though players should not drop this time around. Instead, fans should activate Metroid Prime Remastered's X-Ray Visor and look to the right to reveal a series of platforms that lead to a pillar. Hitting that pillar with a Missile will uncover the collectible.

Missile Expansion 31 (Fiery Shores)

Players will see several crates after passing through the Morph Ball tunnel in the Fiery Shores. These crates can be destroyed with a Morph Ball Bomb, and the elevated Morph Ball maze that is beyond them leads directly to a Missile Expansion.

Phendrana Drifts Missile Expansions

Missile Expansion 32 (Phendrana Shorelines)

There is a large rock near the Save Station in the Phendrana Shorelines, and there is a sheet of ice on one side of it. Players can use the Plasma Beam to melt that ice and reveal a Missile Expansion.

Missile Expansion 33 (Phendrana Shorelines)

The second Missile Expansion in this room is found near the entrance to the Chozo Temple. Here, players should use a Super Missile to destroy a Cordite wall hang to the left of the entrance and then interact with the scan point that is revealed. This scanning will give fans of Metroid games the ability to enter a nearby tower, which can be climbed with Spider Ball.

Missile Expansion 34 (Ice Ruins East)

Players should be on the lookout for a Spider Ball Track as they make their way across the rooftops in the Ice Ruins East. This track can be used to climb a tall building and reach a Missile Expansion.

Missile Expansion 35 (Ice Ruins East)

There is an ice wall down and to the right of the Plaza Walkway door within the Ice Ruins East, and players that melt it will receive a Missile Expansion.

Missile Expansion 36 (Research Lab Hydra)

After reaching the top of Research Lab Hydra, players should fire a Super Missile at the column to the left of the terminal to reveal a Missile Expansion.

Missile Expansion 37 (Research Lab Aether)

There is an elevated platform within Research Lab Aether, which players can access just after passing through the room's broken window. Upon reaching this platform, Metroid fans must navigate through a Morph Ball maze to reach the Missile Expansion.

Missile Expansion 38 (Frost Cave)

Players should Grapple Beam onto the Glider in the Frost Cave in order to swing to a ledge across the room. Fans should then look up and fire a Missile at the large stalactite on the ceiling. This will cause the stalactite to break the ice below, giving players access to a Missile Expansion.

Missile Expansion 39 (Gravity Chamber)

There is ice on the ceiling near the door to Chamber Access, which players can melt with the Plasma Beam. This will reveal a Grapple Point that fans can use to reach a Missile Expansion.

Missile Expansion 40 (Quarantine Monitor)

Players should position themselves in the elevated alcove within the Quarantine Cave, the room in which the fight with Metroid Prime Remastered's Thardus occurs, and use the Grapple Points to swing across to a Morph Ball tunnel. This tunnel leads to Quarantine Monitor, a small room that holds a Missile Expansion.

Phazon Mines Missile Expansions

Missile Expansion 41 (Main Quarry)

Players should climb the elevated walkway within the Main Quarry to reach the base of a crane. Fans should then activate Metroid Prime Remastered's Thermal Visor and shoot a Wave Beam at the nearby conduit to send power to the crane's controls. Scanning those controls will cause the crane to move, allowing players to climb up its Spider Ball Track and reach a Missile Expansion.

Missile Expansion 42 (Security Access A)

There is a metal gate very near to the door that leads to the Main Quarry, and players can destroy it with a Power Bomb in order to access a Missile Expansion.

Missile Expansion 43 (Elite Research)

There is a gun mounted on the ceiling of Elite Research, which players can rotate by using Boost Ball within the nearby Spinner. Fans should perform this rotation until the gun is pointed at the wall that has "8% integrity" and then scan the nearby terminal to destroy that wall and reveal a Missile Expansion.

Missile Expansion 44 (Elite Control Access)

There is an explosive crate on a ledge within Elite Control Access, and players should destroy it to uncover a Missile Expansion.

Missile Expansion 45 (Phazon Processing Center)

Players should begin at the door that leads to the Maintenance Tunnel, which can be opened with Metroid Prime Remastered's Ice Beam. Fans should then turn their backs to this door and use the X-Ray Visor to reveal a platform to the right, which can be used to reach a ledge. Placing a Power Bomb on this ledge will break the wall, allowing fans to grab a Missile Expansion.

Missile Expansion 46 (Metroid Quarantine A)

Not long after crossing the Phazon chasm in Metroid Quarantine A, players will encounter two parallel Spider Ball Tracks. Fans should use a Power Bomb to destroy the wall to the left of those tracks, continue forward, and then use a Power Bomb to destroy yet another wall. Players should then roll across the Spider Ball Track bridge and activate the X-Ray Visor in Metroid Prime Remastered to reveal an invisible platform that leads to the Missile Expansion.

Missile Expansion 47 (Fungal Hall Access)

This Missile Expansion is in the Phazon at the bottom of Fungal Hall Access, tucked away under one of the large mushrooms. Players that have obtained Metroid Prime Remastered's Phazon Suit can collect it without taking damage.

Missile Expansion 48 (Fungal Hall B)

There is ring of mushrooms below the door that leads to Quarantine Access B, and placing a Morph Ball Bomb in its center will reveal a Missile Expansion.

Missile Expansion 49 (Metroid Quarantine B)

Players will see a tank to their right as soon as they enter Metroid Quarantine B by way of Quarantine Access B, and they can claim the Missile Expansion that is inside by shooting it with a Super Missile.

Chozo Ruins Power Bomb Expansions

Power Bomb Expansion 1 (Magma Pool)

After using the Grapple Beam to cross the Magma Pool, players should place a Power Bomb next to the wall covered with vines. This will cause the wall to disintegrate and reveal a Power Bomb Expansion.

Magmoor Caverns Power Bomb Expansions

Power Bomb Expansion 2 (Warrior Shrine)

The path to the Warrior Shrine begins in the Monitor Station. Here, fans should navigate to the bridge that leads to the Phendrana Drifts elevator and then use the Space Jump Boots to access a suspended platform on the left. Players should then jump onto the room's central structure and use Boost Ball within the Spinner to make a bridge appear. This bridge can be used to reach a path leading to the Warrior Shrine, a room that is home to one of Metroid Prime Remastered's Chozo Artifacts, and players should place a Power Bomb next to the statue to clear a path to the Power Bomb Expansion.

Phendrana Drifts Power Bomb Expansions

Power Bomb Expansion 3 (Ice Ruins West)

Players should make their way to the platform that is directly across from the door to the Ruined Courtyard, turn around, and jump to the rooftop that is now in front of Metroid Prime Remastered's Samus Aran. There is ice on this rooftop, and using the Plasma Beam to melt it will reveal a Power Bomb Expansion.

Power Bomb Expansion 4 (Security Cave)

The Security Cave is accessed by passing through a Morph Ball tunnel at the top of Phendrana's Edge. Players can reach this tunnel by using the nearby Glider as a Grapple Point.
