The Charge Beam is a power-up in Metroid Prime Remastered that players will obtain in the Chozo Ruins' Watery Hall. Not only can this Beam be used to access new areas, it also makes it much easier to dispatch certain enemies. This array of uses makes Metroid Prime Remastered's Charge Beam quite valuable, and this guide is here to provide details on where fans should go once they have collected it.

To note, this walkthrough will presume that the reader has not already obtained the Morph Ball Bomb, and indeed it will almost-exclusively focus on finding that important power-up. For those players that have collected the Morph Ball Bomb, they should ignore what is written below and instead make their way to the Arboretum in the Chozo Ruins. Upon arriving at that room, fans should find the runic symbols in Metroid Prime Remastered's Arboretum and pass through the gate that opens.

Metroid Prime Remastered: After Charge Beam Walkthrough

With the Charge Beam in hand, players should backtrack to the Gathering Hall and situate themselves near the door that leads to Gathering Hall Access. There are a series of platforms above this door, which fans should climb to reach a tunnel that can be entered with Samus Aran's Morph Ball ability. On the other side of this tunnel, players will find a door that leads to the East Atrium, and they should continue moving forward until they reach the Energy Core.

Upon entering the Energy Core, players should turn left immediately and follow the path that is in front of them. This path will eventually take Metroid fans past a Stone Toad, and they should enter the Morph Ball tunnel that is just beyond that creature. This tunnel will allow players to access the Burn Dome, a small arena where fans must battle the Incinerator Drone.

The encounter with the Incinerator Drone is quite easy, and players that avoid the machine's fire and shoot the red button that emerges from its top should dispatch it in short order. That said, fans should not be too quick to end this battle, as this is the only opportunity that they have to scan the Incinerator Drone and Barbed War Wasps. Once these entities have been scanned, and the Incinerator Drone has been destroyed, players will receive the Morph Ball Bomb ability, which can be used to reach new areas.

Before players make their way to these new areas, they should do a quick scan of the walls in the Burn Dome. This scanning will reveal that there is a structural weakness in the wall, which fans can destroy with a Morph Ball Bomb in order to access a Missile Expansion in Metroid Prime Remastered.

Metroid Prime Remastered is available on the Nintendo Switch.
