Understanding Prestige in Meet Your Maker
​​​​​​The Prestige system in the game ties in closely with the outpost-building aspect of things. To even begin progressing in this area, there is a need for players to have built their first outpost and activate it, which requires claiming a Burial Site at the Command Center.
At the Command Center, tab over to the Build tab, and proceed to claim a new Burial Site. Make the choice from the information provided, and once at the location, open up the game menu to check the Outpost Status. To build toward Prestige, it either has to be in Active or Overdrive status, which opens up the outpost for raiding.
By sending invaders to the demise and earning accolades, players will also accumulate Prestige points, so it makes perfect sense to design your outpost smartly to eliminate all raiders. Once the requisite amount of Prestige points have been banked, players can then upgrade the outpost further with Synthite, with each subsequent level of Prestige requiring more Synthite.

By playing the cards right and investing tactically, even the smallest of Burial Sites can be transformed into complicated outposts that have death awaiting around every corner. Furthermore, helping an outpost to up its Prestige also grants a 15% bonus on the current GenMat pool, which should help in ensuring the player economy continues to run.
