Trophy hunting is an integral part of many players' gaming experience, and Behaviour Interactive's newest title, Meet Your Maker, provides players with a ton of chances to earn trophies. Specifically, there are an impressive 44 trophies to earn in the game, including a platinum trophy. Most of these trophies tell players exactly what they need to do in order to earn them, but some of the hidden trophies require players to figure out their requirements. This is the case with The Floor is Lava, a hidden trophy in the game that players might be struggling to earn.

Enemy outposts in Meet Your Maker are full of dangerous traps, so The Floor is Lava could be taken in quite a literal sense. Between Incinerators blasting fire, Plasma Sentinels leaving clouds of death, and Corrosive Cubes burning raiders to death, there's a lot that this trophy name could be referencing.

The actual requirement for the trophy titled The Floor is Lava is to not touch the ground for 60 seconds. In order to achieve this, players must be in a raid and manage to use jumping and their grappling hook to stay airborne for a full minute without touching the ground. Players that are able to accomplish this will earn a bronze trophy, one of the four secret trophies in Meet Your Maker. Staying in the air for a full 60 seconds can seem pretty challenging, but there are a few strategies that players can employ to make it easier.

Although raiders in Meet Your Maker do have a double jump, this will only get them a second or two of air time, not nearly enough to reach the one-minute mark. Instead, players are going to want to rely on their grappling hook. Look for an area in an outpost with a high ceiling and then grapple up to the ceiling. Don't press any buttons and then hang on the top until the player drops automatically. Players should be sure they grapple to the ceiling again before touching the ground.

Sometimes builders will create pits leading down to an outpost's Forsaken Tomb. This can be a great place to grapple to get this achievement. That said, players should take care to clear all nearby traps before they start so they aren't killed unexpectedly. It may take a few tries, but players shouldn't have too much trouble earning this trophy. It's worth noting that the player won't get the trophy until they land on the ground.

Meet Your Maker is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
