Media Molecule's PlayStation 4 creation tool Dreams is finally getting support for PSVR, starting during the month of July. Dreams first launched on February 14, 2020 for the PS4, and it'll eventually make its way to the PS5 when the next-gen console launches later this year.

This long-awaited PSVR support comes as part of a free expansion for Dreams. Media Molecule is calling this expansion "Inside The Box," which includes tutorials, kits, and anything else players might need to both make and play games using Dreams on the VR console.

Inside the Box begins, according to Media Molecule, with a new introduction called "All Aboard VR," designed to give new users a complete walkthrough of Dreams' VR controls. After that, Dreams users can explore a variety of How Tos, or simply opt to dive headfirst into the program's Create Mode--which does support PlayStation Move Controllers for those who prefer to use them to sculpt their creative experience.

Inside the Box also includes new sculpts and art pieces, and a broad range of new games to try out, each with their own creation kits. Media Molecule is also promising new Create Mode gadgets for all users, not just those in PSVR; those gadgets and features include comfort mode, vignette strength, and static sky.

All that and more is on its way to Dreams for the July 22 arrival of Inside the Box and the program's PSVR arrival. Players will have to see for themselves just how immersive the new version of Dreams truly is.

Dreams is available now for PS4.
