Aniplex recently released a trailer for Mashle: Magic and Muscles season 2, revealing that the upcoming season will adapt the Divine Visionary Selection Exam arc from the manga. The series is expected to premiere as part of the Winter 2024 season.
In this arc, Mash will compete against other talented mages from around the country to earn the title of Divine Visionary. The trailer also gives us a glimpse of some of the new characters who will be introduced in season 2, including the mysterious Divine Visionary candidates and the dangerous death row inmates who have escaped from Hecatrice Prison.
In the trailer for season 2, fans are offered a sneak peek into the adventures of Mash at Easton Magic Academy as he tries to keep his identity hidden. The trailer also features the introduction of some new characters that will be featured in the upcoming season 2 of the series, and these characters happen to be the Divine Visionaries.

Furthermore, the trailer gave glimpses of Margarette Macaron, who acts as Mash's superior and oversees the Orca dormitory. Season 2 of Mashle: Magic and Muscles will showcase the catchy opening theme song titled "Bling Bang Bang Born" by the talented duo Creepy Nuts. Studio A-1 Pictures has been entrusted with animating and Tomoya Tanaka will direct season 2 of the series. Yosuke Kuroda will be in charge of crafting the story, while the musical genius Masaru Yokoyama will grace us with his compositions.
The Mashle: Magic and Muscles anime series, based on the manga series of the same name, gained immense popularity because of its unique premise of a world where magic is everything but the main character, Mash Burnedead, can’t use magic but is still strong and solely depends on physical power. The first season of the anime was well-received by critics and fans as well, with many praising its animation quality, timely humor, and action sequences. The success of the first season paved the way for its renewal for a second season, which is all set to premiere soon.
