Marvel's Spider-Man balances a fair number of super-villains in the franchise's first entry as it introduces a new Sinister Six for its own continuity. But aside from the Sinister Six that appears in Marvel's Spider-Man, there are many other villains that are either incarcerated, unaccounted for, or going through their own origins.
Marvel's Spider-Man teased an unidentified villain's origin with a chrome helmet that had multiple Oscorp Industries labels and blueprints around it. Because it was found in Norman Osborn's penthouse suite, it is only natural to assume that it is the base prototype for what may inevitably become part of a Green Goblin suit that the distraught father will wear at some point. No explicit inclination has been made to assume Norman will suit up in Marvel's Spider-Man's sequel, but a fan has conceptualized what he may look like if he does decide to don the Green Goblin persona.
Redditor u/Elegant_Respect7395's concept marries the prototype Oscorp Industries helmet with the battle-worn body armor and purple shawl that Willem Dafoe's Norman Osborn wears in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Green Goblin has not been introduced in Marvel's Spider-Man yet, so the opportunities are endless for how Insomniac could choose to interpret the character. Only a few characteristics make Green Goblin uniquely identifiable: a purple-and-green color scheme, pumpkin bombs, and some sort of glider.
If Insomniac does lean toward an earlier, prototypal version of Green Goblin, this concept could very well emulate what that may look like. Otherwise, Marvel's Spider-Man's prototype helmet tease may simply depict that the Emerald Elf is at least in the back of Insomniac's mind but that the final helmet product will look vastly different when seen as part of a finished costume in the future.
Insomniac has taken creative liberties with the aesthetic design of many Marvel characters thus far, so it would be unsurprising to see a Green Goblin that subverts expectations. Elegant_Respect7395's concept using a more technologically advanced body armor might be Insomniac's same course of action, as was the case with Electro, Rhino, Vulture, and Scorpion's new designs. Moreover, Norman's son, Harry, is currently looking like a candidate to be Insomniac's Venom, which would subvert expectations as to whom the symbiote should normally bond to.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2's main antagonists are teased to be Venom and Kraven the Hunter, so it may be unlikely that Green Goblin will even appear in next year's sequel if Insomniac feels it is already too saturated with high-profile villains. But it is anyone's estimate what Green Goblin will look like in the Marvel's Spider-Man franchise, if and when he does eventually appear.
