Peter Parker and Miles Morales are known for their wide range of arachnid-themed costumes, and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will add even more to their wardrobe thanks to an unlikely collaboration of sports, music, and fashion figures. Both Marvel’s Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales allowed players to equip their playable Spider-heroes with outfits pulled from famous Marvel media, and the upcoming Spider-Man 2 will offer up even more threads to help them save New York City in style. For example, Peter will finally don his famous black Symbiote Suit, granting him incredible powers at the cost of possibly corrupting his mind forever.

Meanwhile, fans who pre-order one of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s deluxe editions will have access to 10 exclusive outfits, including Peter’s Sun Wukong-inspired Stone Monkey Suit and Miles’s Power Rangers-style Tokusatsu Suit. Even without these special bonuses, players will have a wide variety of suit options in Spider-Man 2 thanks to alternate color schemes and classic looks like Tobey Maguire’s Symbiote costume from Spider-Man 3. Now it’s been confirmed that Peter and Miles will get even more new suits to wear while out fighting crime after Spider-Man 2’s highly-anticipated launch next week.

This Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Suit Idea Is Even Cuter Than Backpack Cat

A Spider-Man fan shares their idea for a potential Marvel's Spider-Man 2 costume that may put the Backpack Cat outfit to shame.

Earlier this week, famed artist and fashion designer Colm “KidSuper” Dillane announced that he would be working on a collection of post-launch Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 costumes in a video post on Twitter. Dillane says that he was inspired by Insomniac’s previously revealed Spider-Man 2 alternate suits, and his collaboration with the developer on this project is made even more fitting by the fact that his KidSuper clothing line is based in Brooklyn - the in-universe birthplace of Miles Morales and one of the new locations that players will be able to explore as part of Spider-Man 2’s expanded open-world map.

KidSuper won’t be alone in his new Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 endeavor. Pop star and actress Rina Sawayama, Formula One race car driver Lando Norris, and football player Vinicius Junior are all joining forces to help Dillane design his line of post-release Spider-Man 2 outfits. All three were present during KidSuper’s Twitter announcement, and while they remained tight-lipped on what players can expect, Vinicius Junior suggested a suit decked out in yellow, blue, and green - the colors of his home country Brazil. Additionally, Sawayama mentioned leather as a favored material of hers, while Norris noted a fondness for stealth when it comes to costume design.

Both Peter Parker and Miles Morales have worn some of the most iconic superhero costumes in all of comics, and Insomniac will continue to give players options for looking their best while taking on dangerous villains like Venom and Kraven the Hunter even after Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is released on October 20. KidSuper and his team of designers promise to give fans more details about their Spider-Man 2 collaboration in the future, and it will be interesting to see what they eventually come up with.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 releases on October 20, exclusively for PS5.
