Insomniac Games has now revealed that these 10 suits will be exclusively available in the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game, so they will not be unlockable through gameplay progression.RELATED: Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Gets An ESRB Rating Months Ahead Of LaunchInsomniac Games recently responded to a fan asking about the suits in the Digital Deluxe Edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and the development team confirmed that these cosmetic items are exclusive to this version of the game. Players should note that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s Digital Deluxe Edition costs $79.99, $10 more than the price of the standard edition of the game. So, fans interested in playing with these suits will have to purchase the more expensive edition at launch or upgrade to the deluxe version at a later date.

Fans buying the Collector’s Edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will also get access to these suits, as it comes with all the content offered by the Digital Deluxe Edition. Users buying this edition will also get a Steelbook case in addition to a 19-inch statue featuring Miles and Peter fighting Venom. However, the Collector’s Edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will not come with a physical copy of the game, as Sony has opted to include a digital version instead.

Like the 2018 game Marvel’s Spider-Man, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 should feature a ton of different suits for users to try out, but this news may disappoint fans wanting to collect all available suits in the game. Gamers will also get early access to two suits upon pre-ordering Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, but these cosmetic items should be unlockable later through gameplay.

The process of unlocking suits in Marvel’s Spider-Man was fairly straightforward, so Insomniac Games may decide to use a similar feature in the sequel. Gamers would get access to suits by simply completing story missions and leveling up, but they would need to utilize various tokens earned through side activities to be able to use these suits in-game.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 launches on October 20 on PS5.
