Wolverine is one of the most invincible and deadly enemies in the comics. His fanbase got even wider when his power was on display on the screen in shows and movies. His presence in Marvel's Midnight Suns will further enhance the deep appreciation gamers have for Weapon X.
However, although players will have a couple of run-ins with Wolverine earlier in Marvel's Midnight Suns, Logan isn't available for recruitment for a while. Players should understandably be eager to get him on the team. If they know how to unlock him, they can make the process much smoother.
Unlocking Wolverine
- Complete The Changing Face Of Evil mission.
The Changing Face Of Evil is a story mission, so players should not worry about missing Wolverine; if they play through the campaign, they will find him eventually. However, this mission doesn't occur until after completing part one of the story.
That means gamers will have already unlocked Captain America before this mission. This is a tease since players will have actually used Wolverine and his cards in a mission prior to this one. He shows up to help deal with Sabertooth and is sensed stalking the party in another mission before that.
However, the weight certainly pays off. Wolverine is one of the fiercest tanks in the game with a strong inclination toward damage dealing. His legendary card is similar to Nico Minoru's and can wipe out an entire map with relative ease while refusing some of the Heroism spent to play the card.
The highlight for getting Wolverine may very well be off of the battlefield. The character is one of the more pleasant squad members, as he helps Magik feel more at home, defends tough decisions by Caretaker, welcomes the Avengers, and supports the Midnight Suns. It's not a coincidence that the team is not unified until shortly after his recruitment to the ranks. He is great at putting himself in everyone's shoes despite his rough exterior.
