Spider-Man is undoubtedly one of the most iconic heroes in the Marvel Universe. He's sometimes a rarity in collaborative video games due to crummy copyright and trademark laws, but he's part of the squad in Marvel's Midnight Suns and gamers should be jazzed about unlocking him.
He's also one of the most powerful superheroes once he is unlocked. For experts that plan on taking out the toughest difficulties in Marvel's Midnight Suns, Spider-Man is a priority to unlock. Those more interested in the story elements will find that Peter Parker fits in perfectly with a collection of heroes that often feel like outcasts.
Unlocking Spider-Man

Players get a pretty heavy-handed hint regarding how to unlock Spider-Man. He's part of an unmissable story mission and he's got the icon showing that he's "required" to bring along on the mission (even though players won't have him yet). Players that have unlocked Captain Marvel should feel free to bring her or any other favorites along for the ride.
Given that Spider-Man is giving Venom the runaround, players need to prepare for a boss fight. Edit the hero decks to optimize output against both Hydra units and single-target disables and damage. Bind attacks are particularly effective, as are Vulnerable status effects.
Even those without too much love for Spider-Man will want to unlock this hero early. The other rewards are a Gamma Coil and a stack of credits. Credits are going to be the one limiting factor in the endgame; players will have more essence, cards, and Gloss than they will know what to do with.
Spider-Man is a beast on the battlefield as he is granted several bonuses that relate to environmental attacks. These huge attacks are stronger than card attacks in about every situation, the only downside is they deplete Heroism. However, Spider-Man's passive and some of his leveled-up cards reduce or eliminate the cost, giving him a myriad of free attacks and the extra moves to line them up properly.
