As the final member of the team to join the squad during the non-DLC campaign, players will be eager to see when The Hulk lends his services to the team in Marvel's Midnight Suns. Gamers are patient, but knowing that Bruce Banner, both the scientist and the weapon, can join the team is quite tempting.

There is quite a wait before The Hulk can be used in Marvel's Midnight Suns.

Spoiler alert! The following will reveal a major plot point in the game.

After spending most of the game as a villain, players can eventually remove the darkness from The Hulk with some help from The Hunter and company.

How To Unlock The Hulk

Marvel's Midnight Suns The Witch On Wundagore Mountain Story Mission
  • Complete The Witch On Wundagore Mountain mission.

Players will need to focus on unlocking the Scarlet Witch first as she is the only squadmate with the potential to restrain The Hulk. Wanda will need some time to recover, though, so plan on several missions before arriving at The Witch On Wundagore Mountain mission.

As one of the game's fiercest villains, gamers may want to unlock The Hulk only because it means they won't run into him as a mini-boss on their side missions. He's tough to bring down and generally requires contributions from the entire team, so eliminating him as an opponent is wise on higher-difficulty settings.

In combat, The Hulk is a damage dealer that focuses on receiving damage and turning it into offense with a unique rage system. Players who don't appreciate how enemies stack when they try to tank will appreciate The Hulk's approach that forgoes defense for superior offense.

At home, Bruce Banner is the level-headed Avenger that can reach both Doctor Strange and Tony Stark when Captain America can't handle their constant bickering. His scientific contributions are exactly what the team needs to defeat Lillith, which is likely why players are required to get Banner on their side before making a final stand.

Marvel's Midnight Suns is available now for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
