For every step forward in Marvel's Midnight Suns, there is some kind of price to be paid. Some of the time, it's research or essence. But most of the big upgrades require classic money. Called credits in the game, players will be running short on cash most of the time unless they specifically farm for it.
Getting a good cash loop going is important to the team's success in Marvel's Midnight Suns. Players shouldn't be expected to do without these improvements to the abbey and the squad. On tougher difficulties, trying to win while depleted on credits is an impossibility.
Please note this is different that earning Eclipse Credits, the premium currency.
Do Missions That Yield Credits
The most effective way is to take a look at the Mirror Table and select a mission that gives out credits as a reward. The primary reward is almost always a Gamma coil (useful for getting more cards), but the next reward up could be any number of things.
Although a small number of credits can be earned from the other mission rewards, nothing gives out credits quite like the straight-up credit reward. Players may be eager to get artifacts instead, but if players can't pay for the advancements these artifacts unlock, then their contribution is limited.
Open Arcane Chests
Arcane chests are not only a good source of credits, but they are a regular source of credits as well. These chests will respawn a few days after they are opened. Players who farm up arcane keys can open a bunch and get a hefty sum of credits.
Those without arcane keys are not entirely out of luck, though. Those who gain enough arcane levels are permitted to open some of the chests for free. Check the map daily to see which chests are closed and take the time to reopen them.
Pick Up Credit Orbs
Orbs are a good way to get essence and Gloss as well as an occasional credit bundle. These orbs spawn twice per day, once after waking up and once after the mission. A quick sweep should take no more than 30 seconds.
Players who know where they spawn will find a route to pick them all up. Every little bit helps.
