After finishing the tutorial in Marvel's Midnight Suns, The Hunter will wake up and begin exploring the abbey. Right next to his starting point, there is an arcane chest available for opening. The problem is that it's locked and requires an arcane key to proceed.
But these arcane keys aren't given out lightly in Marvel's Midnight Suns. Gamers will likely discover ten or more arcane chests before randomly getting their first key. For those that understandably don't want to just get lucky for their keys, there are ways to expedite their acquisition.
Using The Reveal Word Of Power
By far the best way to get multiple arcane keys in the shortest amount of time is to use the Reveal Word of Power in secret areas. Look for the symbols etched into rocks that match the logo of the Reveal Word of Power to find secrets, most of which are arcane keys.
For those who would like to complete this process quickly, find the four elemental rods and complete that puzzle to gain the Reveal Word of Power. Those who would like to complete the game and fully explore the abbey will have to get this ability eventually.
Sacrificing Artifacts At The Offering Bowl
Directly to the left of Agatha's Altar (the place players turned in the four elemental rods) is an offering bowl. During the day, this bowl is inert. At night, it's glowing and welcomes players to interact with it.
Take an artifact, place it in the bowl, and then cast the Reveal Word of Power to sacrifice the object in exchange for an arcane key and other loot. It's an understandable concern, but do not worry; players who have risen their research level with artifacts will not see a decrease by doing this.
Sparring For Arcane Keys
Every day, players get to choose a companion and have a friendly fight with them in the yard. The standard reward for this event is friendship experience and training, which is indeed valuable. But search for a fight that rewards an arcane key; often a squadmate will give one up in exchange for a battle.
There are other ways to get arcane keys and players will find many by simply playing the game, but these are the best ways to get them with regularity.
