While other tanks in Marvel's Midnight Suns are a bit of a hybrid, Captain America is an undisputed pure tank. He's got so many block and taunt cards that trying to make him anything but a tank is absurd. However, his style and effectiveness can vary greatly based on his deck.
There are several ways to build Captain America in Marvel's Midnight Suns. This deck will get through the toughest difficulty settings in the game, but it's only one of a few combinations. Many players don't use tanks in the game because their offensive output is lacking, allowing enemy reinforcements to stack up to unmanageable numbers. To counter this, Captain America needs to contribute on every front, not just by being hard to kill.
With Dig In+, Captain America deals damage by tanking, getting a counter, block, and taunt on the same card. When combined with his passive ability that gives block each turn, players shouldn't be worried about Captain America going down even when he is taking blow after blow.
Three of these four cards draw cards for the team. Even when Captain America is doing his thing, he's helping everyone get access to their best cards quicker. This deck makes him a tank that fully supports the rest of the team.
