Players excited to use Blade on the battlefield in Marvel's Midnight Suns won't have to wait for too long. The daywalking half-vampire is a great and early addition to the crew. With the right cards, players will need bad teammates for encounters to be all that difficult.

It's clear from his card selection list that Blade is designed to deal damage. His passive has a chance to apply Bleed with every attack, empowering cards like Strike+ because hitting more enemies means maximizing this chance. Of course, the guaranteed Bleeds from Glaive+ are what make the card legendary; it's worth the generated Heroism invested into it.

Blade is admittedly a drain on Heroism with this deck. Because he has the role of the damage dealer, he should be paired with heroes that can support him or join along in the damage. Due to his ability to heal himself, the advantage of this deck is that it doesn't rely on a main tank, justifying the cost of his skills.

Gamers looking for an extra boost should try modding these cards. The process requires a bit of luck for an ideal roll, but even weak advantages are still advantages.

Marvel's Midnight Suns is available now for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
