Marvel's Avengers is off to a great start in terms of fan service. Players of the game know that there are plenty of easter eggs in Marvel's Avengers for the avid fan to indulge. Whether they are ranging from references to characters, Crystal Dynamics did its best to pay homage to the source material and live up to expectations of the game.

However, there was already enough drama in the community with the missing skins in Marvel's Avengers incident, among other technical issues in the game. Now it seems that a Reddit user by the name of "Jakbutt" has posted a video of a glitch that made Captain America's face go out of control.

From the video, it appears that while Captain America is wearing the "Front Line" epic outfit from one of the menu screens, his eyeballs seem to launch in and out of his eye sockets sporadically. Not only that, but his lips and cheeks fold in on itself as well, exposing the inside of his jaw at one point. Currently, it isn't clear if this bug is also present with gameplay segments of the game.

This glitch doesn't seem to be an isolated incident either; other Reddit users took to the comments to express relief that it wasn't just them that was experiencing these technical difficulties with this specific skin. One of them even points out the hilarious comparison this glitch has to the Shaq television commercials. Jakbutt replies to one of these comments by saying that while they are happy with the game so far, they hope that improvements will be made when the Xbox Series X releases in November.

While this issue is mainly a comedic inconvenience at best, there are still many technical issues with Marvel's Avengers that is prohibiting many fans from enjoying the game. Another Reddit user also commented that Black Widow's comic accurate skin is bugged, making her hair black when it is supposed to be red. So there may be plenty of other bugs waiting to be discovered within Marvel's Avengers. Hopefully, Crystal Dynamics can quickly fix the many present issues with the game in time for the next release for future generation consoles. Fans are deserving of a game that scratches the itch of releasing their true inner hero.

Marvel's Avengers is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions also in development.
