The details of the upcoming Marvel Snap March 2023 season pass have been revealed. Just like previous seasons, it will include new cards that might shift the online card game's meta, and new variants for existing cards.Since launching in 2022, Marvel Snap has released various card series and monthly themed seasons based on the vast Marvel Comics universe. Its most recent season was February's "Into the Quantum Realm," which was rolled out around the same time of the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania premiere. The new character cards introduced this season were MODOK, Ghost, Stature, and Kang the Conqueror.RELATED: Marvel Snap Player is First in the World to Reach Max Collection LevelFor the March 2023 season, Marvel Snap dataminers found that the game will be going for an X-Men theme with "Days of Future Past," which will begin on March 6th, 7pm PT and end on April 3rd, 7pm PT. This month's season pass will include new character card Nimrod, which adds copies of itself to other locations when it is destroyed, new variant designs for Wolverine and Sentinel, X-Men-themed card backs, and icons featuring the aforementioned characters. The Premium Cost of the season pass will be pegged at $9.99, while the Premium+ pass will be $14.99.

Apart from Nimrod, who is a season pass exclusive for now, there will be three other cards coming out this season: Kitty Pryde, which can be returned to one's hand to gain +2 power; Negasonic Teenage Warhead, which destroys itself and any card that's played in the same location; and Master Mold, an On Reveal card that adds two Sentinels to the opponent's hand. There will also be new Marvel Snap locations, namely Orchis Forge, Asteroid M, and Krakoa.

Whenever new cards are added to Marvel Snap, many players are given the opportunity to experiment with new decks or adjust their existing decks. Nimrod and Negasonic Teenage Warhead would go great in a Destroy deck, especially if it has Death, who benefits from character cards getting killed. Plus, some players have expressed that X-Men cards didn't seem to synergize with each other. Perhaps the Days of Future Past season might inspire them to bring the team together in a deck.

Marvel Snap is still a pretty young online card game, but there's a lot of potential for competitive play in the future, especially after it recently added a PvP mode. It also made waves last year as it won Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards. With Marvel Snap constantly updating and growing, it's highly possible that many players will continue to stick around and see what the game will have in store.

Marvel Snap is available now for PC and mobile devices.
