With over 200 cards available to players, Marvel Snap still has plenty of Marvel's thousands of characters to pull from when adding new cards in future updates. The game's latest Savage Land season is adding a handful of new cards, including Zabu, Shanna, Dazzler, Sauron, and Shadow King, who will all be released over the course of the season. Even with these new additions, there are still some iconic heroes missing from Marvel Snap who deserve representation in the game.

From big name heroes like Iron Man and Captain America to deeper cuts from Marvel's roster like Black Bolt and Lockjaw, Marvel Snap has characters for every type of Marvel fan. The villains represented in the game also feature iconic foes like Doctor Doom and Thanos, as well as lesser enemies like Rhino and Crossbones, giving the game diverse representation across the board. However, some fans might find some notable exclusions from this roster who could offer unique twists to the game's card-battler gameplay. As Marvel Snap continues to dive into Marvel's legacy characters, it would be a shame if these heroes were skipped over.

Nico Minoru

Marvel's Midnight Suns Nico Minoru Casting Animation

Best known as a member of the Runaways, Nico Minoru has gained more attention recently thanks to her appearance in Marvel's Midnight Suns. She is a blood witch and the daughter of two dark wizards who are members of the criminal organization known as the Pride. After learning of her parents' villainous activities, Nico is attacked by her mother who stabs her with the mystical Staff of One which Nico's body absorbs, granting her its power. Being able to call forth and wield the Staff of One has made Nico a powerful sorceress, and its inability to cast the same spell twice could make for an interesting mechanic in Marvel Snap.

Peggy Carter/Captain Carter

Captain Carter wielding her shield in What If...?

Peggy Carter acts as the main love interest for Steve Rogers in the Captain America comics, but also plays an important role in the fight against Hydra as a member of S.H.I.E.L.D. She is the great-aunt of Sharon Carter, who already appears in Marvel Snap as Agent 13. She could also appear as Captain Carter from the What If...? animated series where it's Peggy who receives the supersoldier serum rather than Steve. The inclusion of Captain Carter would be a great way for Marvel Snap to iterate on the Captain America card, as it has done with cards of other related characters.

Speedball

Robbie Baldwin is transformed into the hero Speedball after being bombarded with extra-dimensional energy at Hammond Research Laboratory. The resulting exposure gave him the power to bounce at high speeds using kinetic energy and allowed him to take on criminals, using his power to protect himself from harm with a bubble of kinetic energy. While not the most well-known hero, Speedball does team up with Spider-Man and Daredevil during a battle with Kingpin. He could offer some unique movement abilities to Marvel Snap based on "bouncing" cards around the field or back to the player's hand.

Frog-Man

After adopting the Leap-Frog suit from his criminal father, Eugene Patilio dons the name Frog-Man and uses his father's suit to help those in need. However, Frog-Man is comically inept at being a superhero, often finding himself in more trouble than those he's trying to help. Although he sees himself as a rival of fellow Marvel hero Spider-Man, the two heroes are not even close in skill level. Frog-Man would make for an excellent gimmick card in Marvel Snap thanks to his notoriety as a clumsy, bumbling superhero through his Marvel Comics appearances.
