A Marvel Snap player has become the first player in the world to reach the end of the progression by hitting the max Collection Level in the game. For those unfamiliar with the title, Marvel Snap is a digital collectible card game developed by Second Dinner. In the card game, the player collects their favorite Marvel characters and then takes them into battle. The game has been generally seen as a success by critics and fans. The game has been praised by some players as the gameplay and collectible side of the game are both extremely engaging. Furthermore, while there is in-game spending, some critics and fans claim that it is not predatory and does not make the player feel obligated to spend their money on it to get the best cards or reach max level. This was the case when the game was first released, though some argue that predatory behaviors have gotten worse from a monetization perspective since then.RELATED: Marvel Snap Clarifies Leader Nerf PlansRegardless, it's no easy feat to reach the highest collectible level in Marvel Snap, but that's exactly what player Aaron did. The maximum collectible level in the game goes up to 22,366—a number the developers thought players would probably never reach. According to a Twitter account, this means they can no longer obtain new rewards beyond the player's current level. It looks like the player is going to have to wait and see what Marvel Snap has to offer in 2023 before playing anymore.

In fact, the developers actually reacted to the tweet by saying, "Thanks for sharing! Impressive achievement. Think we can call it a 'World First'. We will extend it in a future update." While this is an impressive accomplishment, some fans are curious as to how this player reached max level so quickly. And what sort of deck the player was using, as some fans have been complaining about Marvel Snap's current meta that is dominated by pay-to-win cards.

Some of the players who have knowledge of the game have stated that it's safe to assume the player has spent a fair chunk of money on the game, which is evident here. As mentioned above, the game was praised at launch for its non-predatory in-game purchasing aspects, but players have noted that the Gacha elements in Marvel Snap are becoming worse and more prevalent.

Overall, reaching the player's maximum collectible level is a noteworthy accomplishment. It seems, however, that the player is going to have to wait until the next big update to be able to pick up Marvel Snap and start grinding away again. Thankfully, the next update isn't too far away, and there are some heroes who are not represented in Marvel Snap that some fans would love to see included.

Marvel Snap is available for mobile devices and PC.
