Recently, Marvel Snap Zone, which often reports on leaks and other datamined information, revealed that Marvel Snap's April 2023 season will be called "Animals Assemble." This will introduce new season pass card Hit Monkey, a two-cost On Reveal card that gets +2 power for each card played on the same turn, and new card variants for Cosmo and Goose by artist Rian Gonzales. It will also feature new locations, namely Pet Mansion and The Sandbar. The new season is said to start on April 3rd, 7pm PT, and will end on May 8th, 7pm PT, though it's possible these details will change.

Just like previous Marvel Snap seasons, the April 2023 Premium Season Pass will cost $9.99, while Premium+ will cost $14.99. Marvel Snap Zone said that it will update its report as more details come out.

With "Animals Assemble," many players might get inspired to create an all-animal deck if they find enough synergies among them. Hit Monkey could also go well with decks featuring Bishop and Angela, which also gain power when other cards are being played. The new locations could also help players plan out their decks in advance to reach their desired ranks. For example, The Sandbar doesn't allow cards with abilities to be played there, which is perfect for Patriot players.

As Marvel Snap adds more cards and locations, it continues to stay fresh for many avid players and could also hook in newer ones. Developer Second Dinner has also nerfed and tweaked some cards to further balance the game, and give Marvel Snap players an enjoyable experience. Likewise, it will be interesting to see what players will come up with the upcoming April 2023 season and future seasons, and how they will continue to shift the game's meta.

Marvel Snap is available now for PC and mobile devices.
