The Best Metagame On Reveal Cards

Popularity-wise, the top On Reveal cards in Marvel Snap are Carnage, Forge, and Killmonger. However, other cards, such as Deathlok, Blade, and Magik, have also been dominating the metagame for the past few seasons.

Carnage

With its low-Cost, high-potential effect, Carnage is one of the best cards in the entire game. It destroys all friendly assets in his location, gaining +2 Power for each.

Blade

Blade has been an inseparable part of discard decks. He discards the rightmost card in hand, a surefire way of discarding the desired card right after it is drawn.

Forge

Thanks to his all-around synergy, Forge has entered all archetypes. In the move decks, he synergizes with Human Torch, while in destroy decks, it becomes an excellent feeder for the destroyer cards like Carnage.

Ironheart

Ironheart’s unconditional buff is advantageous for any setup. She particularly shines in On Reveal decks, where Ironheart synergizes with cards like Odin that retrigger her ability. This synergy results in multiple Power boosters for the cards on the board, maximizing their effect for a fair price.

Deathlok

Although a risky card, Deathlok tops the list of On Reveal destroy cards. This 4-Cost, 5-Power beast destroys all friendly cards in his lane in one round, unleashing all their destroy archetype potentials.

Doctor Doom

Bringing up to 15 Power to the board, Doctor Doom is a fan-favorite On Reveal. His ability to summon two DoomBots in the late stages of matches is often a game-changer. And more importantly, the fact that his bots synergize with cards like Patriot makes him an irresistible option for most lineups.

Enchantress

As the best Ongoing counter, Enchantress has become more relevant in the current meta. Her support properties play a significant role in her popularity. However, players have been utilizing her to nullify some friendly cards’ Ongoing effects as well. Red Skull, for example, requires Enchantress to get rid of his enemy-boosting effect.

Nico Minoru

A surprise hit from October’s Spotlight Cache, Nico Minoru has rapidly climbed the On Reveal ladder, becoming one of the most common cards of the metagame. Thanks to her seven unique spells, she can be incorporated into most archetypes, creating fun and unpredictable synergies that gamers love.

Killmonger

Holding on to his top spot in Marvel Snap’s meta, Killmonger has been one of the best On Reveal cards since the early stages of the game. This cheap and effective card can destroy all 1-Cost cards on the board, preparing it for succeeding attackers.

Magik

Magik’s effect may appear straightforward on paper: changing the effect of a location to Limbo. However, understanding that Limbo extends the game to round 7 reveals the significant importance of this card. Playing Magik can potentially salvage a game that seemed doomed or disrupt a seemingly assured victory—which reason she’s so popular.

So, to acknowledge other superior characters in the archetype, here are cards that are on the verge of topping the charts:
