There are thousands upon thousands of combinations within a deck of cards that can be used in Marvel Snap. Most decks in the virtual card game are created solely to utilize a particular card's ability or focus on a specific type of ability, like Ongoing cards.

When seeking to use The Living Tribunal's card, players will want to focus on its ability, because it has one of the most unique powers in the game. Since The Living Tribunal is capable of dividing Power between locations, fans can take over all three locations, leaving barely enough room for the opponent to counter at all.

3 The Best Deck For The Living Tribunal

the onslaught-tribunal deck

The Living Tribunal is a 6-Cost card with a great 9-Power. Not only does this wondrous card provide 9-Power onto a location, but it also has the Ongoing ability to split the player's total Power evenly between all three locations. Essentially, The Living Tribunal really provides 3 Power to each location. With this excellent ability, players can construct a deck that provides lots of Power onto one or two locations, and then throw out The Living Tribunal to at least win two of those locations with ease.

With that, players will want to use this Onslaught-Tribunal deck. The Onslaught-Tribunal deck is an Ongoing deck that makes use of cards that multiply Power to split said Power among the locations. Players can even win a location that they don't have any cards on.

There are a lot of higher-Power cards in this deck, but for good reason. Each one has a great ability that is capable of sending The Living Tribunal's ability far enough to win the game. To help combat the fact that players only have so much Energy each turn even though there are high-Cost cards that need to be played, Magik and Electro are utilized. Magik ensures a seventh turn, while Electro gives the player +2 max Energy each turn.

Invisible Woman is used to hide The Living Tribunal and other cards like Omega Red, Mystique, Devil Dinosaur, etc. This helps defend against counters. The real meat of this deck is Iron Man, Devil Dinosaur, and Onslaught. Iron Man and Devil Dinosaur are capable of bringing a location's Power well past 50. With Onslaught, this is especially true. The Living Tribunal can then divide that Power between all locations, ensuring victory.

Here's what each card does in this Onslaught-Tribunal deck:

  • Ant-Man: Ongoing — +3 Power if the player's location is full.
  • InvisibleWoman: Ongoing — Friendly cards aren't revealed until the end of the game.
  • Mystique: On Reveal — If the last friendly card played had an Ongoing ability, copy it.
  • Wave: On Reveal — Next turn, all cards cost 4-Energy.
  • Magik: On Reveal — Turn this location into Limbo. (There's a turn seven).
  • Electro: On Reveal — Player has +2 Energy. Ongoing — The player can only play one card each turn.
  • Jubilee: On Reveal — Play a random card from the player's deck to this location.
  • Omega Red: Ongoing — If the player is ahead by 10 Power on this location, +4 Power to each other location.
  • Devil Dinosaur: Ongoing — +2 Power for each card in the player's hand.
  • Iron Man: Ongoing — Power is doubled at this location.
  • The Living Tribunal: Ongoing—- Divide the player's total Power evenly between all locations.
  • Onslaught: Ongoing — Ongoing effects here are doubled.

2 The Best Cards to Use in a Living Tribunal Deck

onslaught and iron man cards

The Living Tribunal only fares well when used with cards that can help a location withhold a lot of Power. There are many heavy hitters in Marvel Snap, like Hulk and Death, but players will want to seek out cards that help multiply other cards' Power. Plus, the combination of more Energy will help players strategize their cards perfectly.

The Living Tribunal works amazingly with Iron Man, who can multiply a location's Power and Onslaught, who doubles the effects of other Ongoing cards. With these two, a location can easily hit 50 Power or more. Other cards that work great with The Living Tribunal are Magik and Devil Dinosaur.

1 The Best Counter for The Living Tribunal

enchantress and echo cards

The Living Tribunal caught traction upon the card's release, especially after the Rise of the Phoenix Season Pas. Many players are dominating the virtual table with this 6-Cost card, making it a likely threat fans will encounter in their future matches. Because of that, many players will want to utilize the best counters for The Living Tribunal. Sometimes, players may easily win by simply having more Power on two locations than the opposing Living Tribunal's divided Power. However, that isn't always true, especially when facing an opponent's Onslaught-Tribunal deck.

To counter The Living Tribunal, players can use Enchantress, which renders Tribunal's ability useless, and even Echo, who removes any opposing Ongoing ability from a card that is played at Echo's location. These two rely on the player to play a card on The Living Tribunal's location, or at least 'read' the opponent in where they will most likely play said card. Goose can also be used to control a location so that opponents can't play The Living Tribunal at Goose's location.
