In Marvel Snap, there are countless combinations of cards out of which players can create decks. With so many cards, there are also many abilities. Some of these have been referred to as "interference" abilities. These abilities interfere with the opponent's deck, hand, or played cards in different ways.

This means that interference cards can destroy, discard, take away, or simply render them useless. These cards are always great to combo together so that a player can continuously reject the opponent's strategy while taking over locations themselves to achieve victory. Among them, there definitely are some interference cards that work better than others.

10 Elektra

Elektra is a Pool 1 card that players can obtain fairly early. Though she works especially well in destructive-based decks, Elektra is great with any deck, as she's very versatile. She is a 1-cost card, making her easy to use at any time because she's so inexpensive.

Her ability allows her to destroy an enemy 1-cost card at her location. This makes Elektra great for any player who is reliant on 1-cost cards to win a location, like Sunspot and Ant-Man.

9 Scorpion

Scorpion is a great Pool 2 card within Marvel Snap, and his On Reveal ability proves so. On Reveal gives every card in the opponent's hand a -1 to their power, which can actually render some cards useless in regard to their power distribution.

No matter how Scorpion is played, it's great to have the enemy's cards held at a lower power. This card is also a great counter for any cards that boost other cards with a +1, like Captain America and Blue Marvel.

8 Spider-Man

spider man in marvel snap

Spider-Man is a card that players will first utilize in the tutorial match of Marvel Snap, leaving many players trying to get Spider-Man's card in the game. Spider-Man is a Pool 3 card, and costs 4 energy while providing 3 power.

Spider-Man also has the On Reveal ability, which prevents the opponent from playing any cards at Spider-Man's location the next turn. This card is a great way to lock down a location to win, especially on turn 5. Essentially, Spider-Man is a variant of Professor X, just a little less powerful.

7 Baron Mordo

Baron Mordo is one of the best 2-cost cards in the entire game. He has the On Reveal ability that lets the opponent draw a card, but the energy cost of the card is set to 6, which is initially the maximum.

Essentially, this card can render a card within the opponent's deck completely useless. At the very least, it can keep the other player from using their other 6-cost card(s). Baron Mordo is great for stopping an opponent from using any strategic cards.

6 Black Bolt

The Inhuman Black Bolt, in which players can obtain in Pool 3, is a strong 5-cost card with a great 7-power. He has an On Reveal ability that allows him to force the opponent to discard the lowest-cost card in their hand.

Because Black Bolt will usually be played late into the game, the opponent may have only high-costing cards in their hand. This makes Black Bolt an easy way to get rid of a 3-cost card or even a 5-cost card. On the chance that the player only has a 6-cost in their hand, that card will be discarded.

5 Black Widow

Black Widow is yet another one of the best 2-cost cards in the game, even if she only has a power of 1. Her On Reveal ability allows her to add a Widow's Bite card to the opponent's hand. This card has a 0-cost and a 0-power, but while it is in a player's hand, they can't draw any more cards.

This makes Black Widow an incredible interference card, as the opponent will be forced to either play the card or be unable to draw any more cards from their deck. The card also takes away a spot from a location, making only three spots left for the opponent.

4 Doctor Octopus

Spider-Man's villains all seem to showcase abilities that interfere with the opponent, and Doctor Octopus is no different. Doctor Octopus is easily one of the best 5-cost cards in the entire game, and this is all because of his power and his ability.

Doctor Octopus has a great power of 10. His On Reveal ability allows him to take four cards from the opponents hand, and play them at the location where Doctor Octopus was played. This card is extremely versatile for any sort of deck, except for discard decks.

3 Hobgoblin

hobgoblin cards

Hobgoblin is one of the best Pool 2 cards that players can obtain in Marvel Snap, and that's because of his amazing interference ability. With Hobgoblin's villainous On Reveal ability, he is sent to the opponent's side of the location, allowing them control over his card.

This is because Hobgoblin has a power of -8, essentially subtracting 8 power from the opponent's side of that location, and taking up a spot there as well. This card is great for rendering strategies useless, especially at a location the opponent is after.

2 Iceman

iceman in marvel snap

Iceman is another 1-cost card that players can use to interfere with the opponent's hand. When Iceman is played, his On Reveal ability allows him to give a card in the opponent's hand a +1 to their cost, though the maximum is 6.

This is great for any deck, as Iceman is another versatile card. His ability can make it much harder for opponents to execute their strategies, as an important card may have its energy cost increased. Iceman is especially powerful when striking a 5-cost card, making it only playable on turn 6.

1 Leech

leech in marvel snap

Leech is another great 5-cost card, and has his own fair power of 3. His power isn't what players should necessarily seek out though, as it should be his On Reveal ability. Leech's On Reveal ability takes away the ability of ever card in the opponent's hand.

This makes Leech one of the best interference cards in the game, as the card renders so many enemy cards useless in the ability sense, which is arguably the most important mechanic in Marvel Snap. Leech is a great asset in any deck, as he's very versatile.
