Marvel Snap has a continuously growing directory of cards based on many characters and fictional things within the Marvel Universe. As there are many cards in the game for players to use, there are a countless amount of different decks and variations of cards.
One of the best cards for players to utilize within a deck is the Hela card. Hela is a 6-cost card with 6-power, and her On Reveal ability states that all cards that the player discarded are played at random locations. Within discard-based decks, Hela can be a swift way to win a match in Marvel Snap.
10 Lady Sif
Lady Sif is a pool 1 card that is a staple for discarding decks. She goes wonderfully well with Apocalypse. Lady Sif is a 3-cost card with 4-power, and her On Reveal ability allows her to discard the highest-cost card in the player's hand.
This card goes wonderfully with Hela, as the player will be able to use Lady Sif and discard the highest-cost card in their hand. The card that will be discarded will generally be a high-power card like Infinaut or Hulk. Hela will then play that card later in the game.
9 Sword Master
Sword Master is another pool 1 card that players can obtain early in Marvel Snap. Sword Master is a 3-cost card with 6-power. Not only is this card powerful for its energy-cost, but it also has the On Reveal ability to discard a random card from the player's hand.
This could be risky with Hela already in hand, but otherwise, the two make a great combo. Sword Master can provide a considerable amount of power onto a location and discard a card from the player's hand. Hela will then play the discarded card later on.
8 HellCow
HellCow is one of the best discarding cards that players can obtain in the game, and one of the best pool 3 cards as well. Hell Cow is a 4-cost card with 6-power, and also has the On Reveal ability to discard two random cards from the player's hand.
With HellCow in play, the player will have discarded two different cards by utilizing a single card. Hela can be used later in the match and then bring the two discarded cards back into play. This is especially good as a "casino" deck, so that HellCow can discard two high-powered cards.
7 Gambit
Gambit is a unique pool 3 card that players can obtain by leveling up their collection level. Gambit is a 3-cost card with only 1-power, but has a great ability. Gambit's On Reveal ability discards a card from the player's hand, and then destroys a random enemy card in play.
Not only is this a great card for interfering with the enemy, but it's also a great card to use with Hela. Gambit will achieve a win-win situation for the player as he destroys an enemy card, and then discards a friendly card so that Hela can bring it back later.
6 Blade
Blade is one of the best pool 1 cards in the game, and one of the best 1-cost cards as well. Blade is a 1-cost card with 3-power, which is a lot for just a 1-costing card. He has the On Reveal ability to discard a random card from the player's hand.
Since Blade is a card that discards a friendly card, Hela works great in combination with Blade. He can be played to discard a card, and then Hela can be played for 6-energy to bring back the card that Blade discarded, along with any others that were discarded.
5 Infinaut
Infinaut is one of the best cards in all of Marvel Snap, due to the amount of power the card withholds. Infinaut is a 6-cost card with an incredible 20-power, the highest powered card in the game. Infinaut's card states that if the player played a card last turn, then Infinaut can't be played.
There are definitely some loops around that "ability," and Hela is one of the best loops for playing Infinaut. A card like Blade or Lady Sif can quickly discard Infinaut from the player's hand, and then Hela can play Infinaut later in the game for free.
4 Colleen Wing
Colleen Wing is a pool 3 card that seemingly is the opposite of Lady Sif. Colleen Wing is a 2-cost card with 4-power, and she also has the On Reveal ability to discard the lowest-cost card in the player's hand.
This card can be an easy way to avoid discarding Hela, and rather discarding a more desirable card that may be a 5-cost card with a lot of power, like Typhoid Mary. After Colleen Wing discards a card, Hela can be played, and then she will use her On Reveal ability to bring back the card that Colleen discarded.
3 Morbius
The vampire Morbius finds himself in Marvel Snap as a pretty popular discard-based card. Morbius is a 2-cost card with 0-power. His Ongoing ability saves the card though, as it states that for every card that the player discards, Morbius gains 2-power.
Quickly enough in discard-themed decks, Morbius can become a powerhouse onto a location. Since Hela relies on cards being discarded just like Morbius, the two can be a great combo in the same discard-themed deck, and Morbius can even be a backup in case Hela isn't drawn.
2 Moon Knight
Moon Knight is another one of the more popular discard-based cards in the virtual card game, and also one of the more popular pool 3 cards that players can collect. Moon Knight is a 3-cost card with 3-power. He has the On Reveal ability to discard a card from the player's hand, as well as discarding a card from the opponent's hand.
Just like Gambit, this card is a win-win for Hela decks. Moon Knight will provide Hela with a discarded card she can bring back, and interfere with the opponent by taking out one of their cards.
1 Giganto
Giganto is second in regard to the most powerful cards in Marvel Snap, with first being Infinaut. Giganto doesn't see too many appearances in decks outside "casino" decks, and that fact is true with Hela. Giganto is best used in Hela-based casino decks.
Giganto is a 6-cost card with 14-power, though its ability states that the card can only be played in the left location. Fortunately for players, they can loop around this set-back by discarding Giganto with a card like Blade or Sword Master, and then quickly bring Giganto back with Hela onto any location.
