The following combos are excellent for an Absorbing Man deck:
- Play Absorbing Man after Brood or Mister Sinister. This will duplicate their no-power clones, allowing for an even bigger buff with Patriot.
- Copy Iron Man’s On Reveal ability with Absorbing Man. This way, the deck will have two power-doubling cards.
- Drop Absorbing Man in turn four after playing Silver Surfer. In the next round, try to hit Patriot with Iron Lad to duplicate the distributed Power.
