The Disney Plus She-Hulk show has wrapped up an intriguing mixed bag of a first season. While Jennifer Walters is now a potentially major commodity for the MCU, not all fans were delighted with the twists and turns that her character took throughout the show. This includes her quick mastery of the powers bestowed upon her by her cousin Bruce Banner.

While the MCU Jennifer Walters seems to be a powerful version of the Jade Giantess, there are some in the comics that are even more super-powered than she. From strange alternate realities to fascinating runs from different periods of Marvel Comics, She-Hulk has changed a lot over the years.

6 The Misstro

The Misstro She-Hulk In Marvel Comics

The most powerful version of the Hulk in all the comics, and now Marvel’s Avengers game as well, is known as the Maestro. Similarly, there was a version of She-Hulk in the first issue of She-Hulk: Sensational that seemed to be a warrior from a vision of the future. This version of She-Hulk carried weapons and trophies from other Avengers, seeming to indicate that she had either outlasted or killed all of them.

The weapons and trophies included pieces of Iron Man’s armor, what appeared to be an Asgardian hammer, and Captain America’s shield, making quite the stunning look for the character dubbed The Misstro. This badass look and other weapons seem to indicate this version of She-Hulk has continued to gain power and become a true force to be reckoned with.

5 Immortal She-Hulk

Something not yet explored in the MCU, and perhaps unlikely to ever feature in that universe, is the One Below All. This entity is one of several in the Marvel Universe likened to the Devil or Satan. While it remains locked away in a dark, deep corner of the multiverse, there are ways it can manifest itself or bring others to it through green doors.

Bruce Banner unwittingly opened such a door through gamma radiation exposure and became the Hulk, and since then every gamma-powered being has entered a green door and been confronted by this being after death. The Earth-616 Jennifer Walters went through this and became basically immortal. The new powers gained from confronting the One Below All made her one of the most powerful versions of any Hulk, in any universe, ever.

4 Red She-Hulk

Again appearing in the Earth-616 main timeline in Marvel Comics, Red She-Hulk is actually Betsy Ross, who previously appeared in the MCU played by Liv Tyler. It seems unlikely that she will appear as Red She-Hulk anytime soon though. This character was an incredibly high-powered Hulk character that had She-Hulk’s abilities but several terrifying original ones as well.

Not only was Betsy able in this form to fire energy blasts that could stop other Hulks short, but she could fly and had powerful claws which could damage the skin of almost anything, including the skin of other Hulks.

3 Winter Hulk

Winter Hulk In Marvel Comics

The Winter Guard was a Russian superhero team that was essentially a Soviet answer to the Avengers, in the words of Jennifer Walters herself. She was recently kidnaped by the team and subjected to the Red Room (the brainwashing device seen in Black Widow) which led to her becoming an even more dangerous creature, known as the Winter Hulk.

The Winter Guard intended to unleash the Winter Hulk on her former Avengers teammates as they arrived to attack the Red Room. However, this went horribly wrong and the Winter Hulk destroyed, maimed, and killed most of the Winter Guard team before escaping. This version of She-Hulk can breathe gamma radiation flames, and wiped out much of Atlantis single-handedly in the year since she was introduced.

2 Thor She-Hulk

Thor She-Hulk In Marvel Comics

This was surely the most powerful version of She-Hulk ever explored in Marvel Comics, but she was only explored very briefly. In Sensational She-Hulk #50, there was a meta-idea going on where a creative team explored various versions of the character.

As it is easy to imagine, this version of She-Hulk was merely just Jennifer Walters with all of her normal abilities mixed with the power of Thor. In a reality where Jennifer was deemed worthy to wield Mjolnir and all the powers of the God of Thunder, this could be very real. In that case, such a She-Hulk would be pretty much as strong as anyone could imagine a version of the character becoming. With Jane Foster, Steve Rogers, and others having found their worthiness in lifting Mjolnir, it isn’t impossible that Jennifer Walters could too become this powerful one day.

1 Ultimate She-Hulk

Ultimate She-Hulk In Marvel Comics

The Ultimate Universe has always been an oddity of Marvel Comics, where many strange and darker ideas go to live and breathe. Betsy Ross was She-Hulk in this universe, and she was a much angrier, selfish version of the character that manipulated everybody in her path in order to further her own needs.

She also possessed an incredible level of healing, which rivaled that of Wolverine himself and made her one of the most powerful superheroes in the Ultimate Universe. While she may not be the single most powerful version of She-Hulk there has ever been, she was a terrifying and unpredictable commodity who could not be trusted and was especially dangerous to be around.

She-Hulk is available for streaming on Disney Plus.
