Super Mario Bros. Wonder's Special World is home to the game's most difficult courses, and players that want to play through them will need to locate some special entrances. More specifically, there are seven entrances to the Special World, and they are found within the game's six standard Worlds and the Petal Isles. This guide is here to provide full details on how to access those entrances, and it will help players experience everything that Super Mario Bros. Wonder's Special World has to offer.

Pipe-Rock Plateau World 1 Special World Entrance

To travel to the Special World through Pipe-Rock Plateau, players must use the secret exit in Mario Wonder's Bulrush Express course. Using that exit requires reaching the end of the course's stampede section with the Elephant power-up, which is capable of breaking through a series of brick blocks, and it grants access to a unique path within Pipe-Rock Plateau. Sproings in the Twilight Forest and Cosmic Hoppos are levels on that path, and it leads directly to the Special World entrance.

Fluff-Puff Peaks World 2 Special World Entrance

Players that are looking for the Special World entrance in Mario Wonder's Fluff-Puff Peaks should claim the World's Royal Seed and then return to the area immediately preceding the Fluff-Puff Peaks Flying Battleship. Here, fans should go right and complete Jump! Jump! Jump! and the Spring Feet I Expert Badge Challenge to access the warp point.

Shining Falls World 3 Special World Entrance

After obtaining the Royal Seed in the Shining Falls, Mario Wonder players should return to the Royal Seed Mansion at the top of the World. The Master Poplin will appear once again within this structure, and he will open the entrance to the Special World, which is situated to the left of the Royal Seed Mansion.

Sunbaked Desert World 4 Special World Entrance

The first step toward finding the Special World entrance in the Sunbaked Desert is using the secret exit in Mario Wonder's Secrets of Shova Mansion course. For the uninitiated, that exit can be accessed by smashing a stack of brick blocks in the course's final room and pushing a tall green block into the hole that has been created. After that is done, fans must simply complete the Flight of the Bloomps course and the Invisibility I Expert Badge Challenge to reach the warp point.

Fungi Mines World 5 Special World Entrance

After completing Operation Poplin Rescue, the final course in the Fungi Mines, and obtaining the Royal Seed, players should simply replay that level. Indeed, saving the Poplins a second time will open the entrance to the Special World.

Deep Magma Bog World 6 Special World Entrance

To access the Special World entrance from the Deep Magma Bog, players will need to obtain 25 Wonder Seeds and use them to clear a blockade. That blockade is reached by going left at the bottom of the World and plaything through the Wavy Ride through the Magma Tube and Dragon Boneyard courses. Those courses are not the only challenges that fans of 2D Mario games will face on their way to the Special World entrance, though, as there are several difficult levels beyond the blockade.

To note, players will need to collect nearly every Wonder Seed in Mario Wonder's Deep Magma Bog before they are able to clear the 25-Seed blockade. This includes the Wonder Seeds that are earned by using the secret exit within Where the Rrrumbas Rule, which is reached by drilling into the ceiling and holding right just before falling onto the course's checkpoint.

Petal Isles Special World Entrance

Players can reach the entrance to the Special World from the Petal Isles by completing Spelunking!, a Wiggler Race that is situated near the entrance to Deep Magma Bog.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder is available now exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
