This guide will show players how they can safely navigate Level 2-4 in Mario vs. Donkey Kong so that they can move on and take on Mario's nemesis once again.
Area 1
A bird has made its nest in the first area of Level 2-4, so players must be very careful moving around. If they're hit with an egg, they'll lose a life and have to start the level all over again. To avoid the bird eggs, gamers will have to quickly move out of the way as they're falling or do a handstand so it only collides with Mario's feet.
How to Get the Red Present
First of all, gamers should grab the red gift before moving on to the key, as they will have little time to collect it later. To get the red Present, players have to climb the ladder and descend to the area with all the switches. They have to jump on the spring on the farther right to get onto the red platform in order to collect the gift box.
How to Get the Key
Next, they'll have to get back onto the wooden platform to grab the key, and they must toss onto the red blocks. Then, to get the key to fall down to the bottom floor, they'll have to activate the switches in the following order: yellow, blue, yellow.
Area 2
The second area has two platforms that repeatedly go up and down, and gamers have to use them to reach each floor of the right and left structures found in Area 2 of Level 2-4.
How to Get the Blue Present
To get the blue Present, the red switch must be turned on, which means they can grab it as soon as they start the level. First, gamers have to climb up on the platform on the right. Then, they must jump onto the red block in the middle in order to hop onto the left platform and reach the highest floor on the left side of the structure.
How to Get the Yellow Present
Players can work on the yellow gift right after grabbing the blue Present. To do this, they'll have to get back onto the left platform and activate the blue switch on the third floor of the left side. Then, they have to go back down, grab the barrel on the bottom floor, get back on the right platform, activate the yellow switch, return to the platform, throw the barrel at the RamRam, and grab the yellow Present.
How to Get the Mini-Mario Toy
The Mini-Mario Toy is on the first floor of the structure on the left. Players can do a Handstand Double Jump from the ground floor to reach it, or they can get there from the left platform.
