Ubisoft announced an official release date for the DLC, leaving fans of Mario + Rabbids with only a few days until the crossover title becomes available.Despite Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope experiencing lower sales than expected, the Mario + Rabbids franchise is still keeping the recent installment in the series going strong with several planned DLC that will bring the game some exciting new content for fans of the series to enjoy. Although the sales for the game may have not met the expectations of the studio, there is still a community of gamers who continue to love this crossover and wish for more in-game content. With three DLC planned for Mario + Rabbids, fans will get to experience the first of these expansions in just a few short days.In a short teaser trailer posted to the official Mario + Rabbids Twitter account, the end of the clip reveals that the DLC will launch next week on March 2. Although the trailer doesn't really offer many details on the DLC, there does appear to be some sort of fun spooky theme to look forward to, and there's also the tease of fun challenges to prepare for. As the first of three anticipated Mario + Rabbids DLC, Tower of Doooom promises a fun start to the extra content.
With a variety of different Mario + Rabbids strategies to implement in the turn-based game, this DLC is sure to bring fun new strategy puzzles to its audience while showcasing some adorably spooky environments that Madame Bwahstrella will send players. The teaser trailer unfortunately didn't reveal any of those environments or maps, but the mystery of not knowing will make the anticipation even greater for some fans who are eager to play.
If there happens to be a third installment in the franchise's future, there will be high expectations for Mario + Rabbids, but until then these three planned DLC will serve as great filler content to continue giving many players a great gaming experience. Even if the game didn't sell like anticipated, the turn-based title has still benefited from amazing reviews and great reception from many who purchased and played the game. Adding DLC to an already great game just means more fun, and this first DLC seems like an exciting new addition to the game's world.
