It wasn't much of a surprise, but there's little question that Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle made for one of the more engaging aspects of Ubisoft's E3 2017 showcase. After a number of leaks ousted the existence of the bizarre crossover title, the French publisher officially pulled back the curtain on the software to exhibit some of the turn-based, tactical gameplay that will fill it. Given the popularity of Nintendo's mascot, it seemed inevitable that Ubisoft would take a run at drumming up some extra cash through tie-in merchandise – which it will now officially be doing through several different forms.

First and foremost, fans of Rabbids and Super Mario will be able to pickup a Collector's Edition of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, exclusively through GameStop, for a suggested retail price of $99.99 USD. As of this writing the limited run SKU is sold out, and neither Ubisoft, GameStop, or Nintendo has commented on whether or not more product will be allocated to the retailer at some point between now and its release later this August.

The Collector's Edition contains the following:

  • The complete Mario + Rabbids Battle Kingdom game.
  • A six-inch figurine of Rabbid Mario by Ubicollectibles.
  • A set of physical collector's cards.
  • The original soundtrack on CD.

Suffice it to say, fans will likely be eager to get their hands on the statue that comes packed-in, and they'll be able to do just that outside of this Mario + Rabbids bundle if push comes to shove. Ubisoft has also prepared several different variants of the Rabbids and immortalized them in statue form, all of which can be purchased online from The Official Ubisoft Store.

Rabbid Mario, Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Luigi, and Rabbid Yoshi are available in 3" and 6" options for those looking to prominently display their newfound fandom of the game. These statues retail for $39.99 USD (6-inch) and $19.99 USD (3-inch), respectively, which really isn't a bad deal for those so inclined as to pick one or four up. Now fans need only wait until that Donkey Kong-inspired Rabbid gets his own statue.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle will arrive exclusively for Nintendo Switch on August 29, 2017.
