Mario Kart Tour is receiving a brand new event just in time for the new year. Players can look forward to the New Year's 2021 Tour very soon to bring in the new year in Mario Kart Tour.

Beginning on December 29, 2020, at 10:00 PM PT, Mario Kart Tour will see the New Year's 2021 Tour, kicking off the new year a couple of days before it actually begins. Nintendo has continued to support Mario's mobile racer with themed events and content, like the Merry Mountain course that was added to Mario Kart Tour recently. This New Year's celebration is the most recent example.

The new tour will apparently see Lakitu join the party. Normally the cloud riding critter is the guide who picks up racers who fall off courses or point players in the right direction, but this time it may be ready to join the fun. It will be interesting to see Lakitu racing around corners in Mario Kart Tour.

Currently, The Rosalina Tour event is taking place in Mario Kart Tour, and it is just about wrapping up. It will be replaced with the New Year's 2021 Tour. So there are a few days left to jump in and enjoy the content before the New Year's fun takes over.

Whether it is the Halloween event, a Super Mario Sunshine outfit, or the Sunset Tour in Mario Kart Tour, Nintendo's support of the game allows players to always have something new to do, which helps a mobile game stay fresh and exciting in many ways.

Mario Kart Tour is available now on mobile devices.
