Some of the characters sporting a festive look included Mario, Daisy, Bowser, and Yoshi. In addition, Mario and his friends appeared to drive Christmas-themed karts. In particular, Mario was racing in a vehicle that looked similar to a sleigh. Beyond these cosmetics, the trailer showed off the new GBA Snow Land course, which is coming with the new tour. A number of other “snowy courses” are also supposed to be present in the Holiday Tour.

In addition to this new trailer, the developer revealed that new Mii racing suits were coming to the game. These new outfits compose Wave 21 of Mii racing suits and include designs based on Santa and a Reindeer. According to the announcement, these new suits will arrive along with the Holiday Tour. Furthermore, the developer teased Wave 22, which is scheduled to launch on December 27.

While this announcement about the Holiday Tour is doubtlessly exciting for fans, it is not the only news surrounding the Mario Kart series. In addition to the updates for Mario Kart Tour, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe recently received a new round of content due to Wave 3 of the Booster Course Pass. This new wave introduced eight courses to the Switch game, including Maple Treeway and the Mario Kart 7 version of Rainbow Road. With so much content available in both these games, it seems like now is an excellent time to be a Mario Kart fan.
