Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit has only been out a few weeks, but there are already some great custom tracks popping up online. Certain terrains aside, the sky really is the limit when it comes to creating courses using the Home Circuit kit.

Some have looked to classic Mario Kart tracks for inspiration, whilst others have instead delved deeply into their own imaginations. Regardless of how these tracks came to be created though, they're incredibly impressive and definitely worth checking out.

10 Power Parade

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit

NintendoCade Gaming may not have created the most challenging track, but it's certainly one of the most visually impressive. It's inspired by Rainbow Road, but there's a rather interesting twist. Rather than a rainbow theme, the track is instead made up using all 285 issues of the Nintendo Power magazine.

There are also some Nintendo First 4 Figures decorating the route as well as a hidden shortcut under the couch.

9 Grassy Garden

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit

Arrekz Gaming wanted to see how well Mario Kart Live fared outside and so built this huge track in his garden to find out. It's not the most challenging track in terms of obstacles, but there's some great scenery to admire and some cool ramps to navigate.

The karts seem to handle pretty well with the concrete and ramps, although grass may be beyond them at the moment due to their small wheels.

8 Pachinko Park

This huge track created by TWD98 features plenty of unique obstacles, but the highlight is definitely the optional energy drink pachinko section. It offers racers the chance to shave a few seconds off of their lap time, but given the skill required to successfully navigate it, it's likely that most will opt to go the long way round.

The track also features a tunnel and several ramps that help to liven things up a little and really put the karts through their paces. It's a very creative track and the multiple routes provide numerous options for racers whilst also providing a little replayability.

7 Amiibo City

The Amiibos and plush toys were already more than enough to make this a great track, but YouTubers Nick VS Jeff went a step further by throwing some dogs into the mix as well. As many players have already discovered, man's best friends are also Mario Kart's best obstacles, with the two pooches making life incredibly difficult for Nick and Jeff as they made their way around the track.

The course may have required a little rebuilding afterward, but that's a small price to pay for the additional challenge that the dogs provide.

6 Wood's Living Room

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit

Wood's Living Room is an entirely original creation that takes full advantage of the size of YouTuber BeatEmUps' home. There are plenty of obstacles for racers to avoid, including a huge amount of Switch software and hardware and even the YouTuber's cat.

There's also a kitchen-themed section of the track, featuring kitchen chairs and several boxes of Mario cereal. The Wii-U-Turn section deserves a shout out too, if only for the clever wordplay.

5 NES Raceway

More than 200 NES games were used to build Blue Television Games' track, but there's a lot more to it than that. The track's full of tight turns and there are some nice nods to Nintendo's history for racers to enjoy as they make their way around. There's a television running a copy of Duck Hunt on the NES and Rob the Robot makes an appearance as well.

The creator also made the most of the items already in his living room, with his cat tree serving as one of the track's toughest obstacles. Additionally, there are some fairy lights for aesthetics and multiple routes to provide racers with a bit of variety. It's a fun and creative course with lots of unique elements.

4 Yoshi's Crafted Kart

Gaming Boulevard's track seems to have been inspired quite heavily by some of the more recent Yoshi games. Much of the course is handmade out of paper and cardboard and there are also some plants thrown in there to help match the color scheme.

The Amiibos that adorn the outside of the track have a great view of the action, as do those participating in the race through their Switch screens.

3 Studio Square

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit

YouTuber ryukahr decided to turn his home studio into a racetrack and utilized plenty of his gaming memorabilia to do so. There are tons of retro games lining the perimeter of the track and some musical instruments around its edges.

The low clearance of his couch is probably the most challenging aspect of the course, but dodging the countless cartridges and occasional instruments is not exactly a walk in the park either.

2 Neon Highway

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit

Joe 703's track might not be the most complicated course created using the Home Circuit kit, but it's definitely one of the most visually appealing. The neon lights feel right at home in a Mario Kart track and really help to capture the nighttime aesthetic that the creator was aiming for.

Whilst its visuals are undoubtedly the USP of this track, it also makes great use of furniture, with the sofa and the kitchen table both providing great obstacles. It's a shame that the camera included in the karts struggles a little in low light, but this perhaps only adds to the challenge rather than completely ruining the experience.

1 Rainbow Road

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit

YouTuber Mario Kart Maker built this impressive homage to Rainbow Road, the infamously difficult track that has featured in nearly every Mario Kart title. With rainbow flooring, star bumpers, and a starry background, it is one of the most impressive tracks created so far.

It's incredibly sharp bends capture the feeling of Rainbow Road perfectly and are sure to provide racers with plenty of challenge. It might not be quite as difficult as the tracks which inspired it, but it's a wonderful attempt nonetheless. It will be interesting to see which track this creator will attempt to recreate next.
