Mario Golf: Super Rush marked the return of the game's adventure mode. The mode puts players in the shoes of a rookie golfer who is attempting to move up the ranks to compete with some of the best players in the world. The mode combines open-world RPG and golf gameplay.
One of the important elements of the game is collecting coins. These coins can be used to purchase specific outfits and clubs that can enhance specific stats when using them out on the courses. While completing the story missions are the main way to earn money, there are a few other options as well.
Participate In Side Challenges
While the game asks players to follow a certain path, that doesn't mean they can't explore a bit to find other things to do. Each course has a side area where players can go and practice their golf skills. The Hammer Bros standing around these practice areas will offer tutorials to doing certain things.
Completing those tutorials will earn the player a few coins. If players want more, they should talk to the Fire Bros in the same area. These guys will challenge the player to complete even harder versions of the tutorials they just learned. Completing all these side challenges can help fill up a wallet real fast.
Replay Old Missions
One of the benefits of having an open-world environment to walk around in is the ability to backtrack to any of the courses that have been completed already. If players go to the Blue Toads at each course, they could sign-up for the specific challenges they had to complete to raise their medal rank.
There won't be much new content upon replaying these modes, but players who successfully complete these challenges at least a second time can earn a nice sum of coins to spend in the shop.
Collect Coins On The Courses
Earning the largest sums of coins comes from completing challenges. However, if players want a little bit of pocket change here and there, there are coins within challenges to collect.
Whenever players are able to move on foot while playing golf, they will see that there are lines of coins along every single hole. These coins can be lost due to an obstacle or another player, but it is nice to collect them as they can be kept whether they win or lose. Just be careful because focusing on coin collection may take away from completing a mission.
Knock Over Opponents In Speed Golf
Another easy money earner while running around in the golf course is messing with other golfers. In Speed Golf, players are able to use their Special Dash to race towards their ball as quickly as possible. However, the Special Dash can also be used to run over opponents.
This will lead to a circle of coins falling out of them that players can collect. As stated earlier, they could also do the same back to the player so it's important to watch out. Hopefully, players can collect all the dropped coins in time to still complete the challenges.
