Players will need to complete a number of puzzles before they reach the end of Maquette's The Maquette chapter, and some of them can be slightly confusing. Indeed, this chapter asks fans to make sense of some brand new concepts, and there are several points where players might get stuck. For those puzzle game fans that find themselves in that situation, the video and details in this guide may be just what the doctor ordered.

To get right to it, Maquette players should begin by passing a large red cube and entering the yellow castle in order to trigger a cutscene. Upon completion of this cutscene, fans will be able to enter the dome at the center of the main area, where the maquette is situated, and that is exactly what they should do. From here, players should look into the model, locate the small version of the cube that they passed previously, and move it to clear a pathway.

Fans should now navigate to the newly accessible pathway in regular size, pass through the tower, and drop down at the end. They should then spin 180 degrees and enter the elevator that is ahead of them, picking up the small bridge that is inside. With this new piece in hand, indie game players should now pull the lever to activate the elevator and return to the maquette when the ascent reaches its end.

Back at the model, fans should locate the gap in the pathway that they just fell into and place the bridge across it. They should then cross that bridge in regular size and ride the elevator to the top of the tower on the far side. After a short cutscene, players should proceed forward into a small garden, pickup the large golden ticket that sits on a pedestal, and take another elevator back down.

Fans should now approach the dome with the maquette, dropping the large golden ticket on the ground before they enter. They should then extract a small version of that ticket from the model and use it to open the gate leading into the fairground. As players walk around in this new area, they will notice a stone path that terminates at a wall, which they should now locate within the maquette in this new game published by Annapurna Interactive.

Doing this will reveal that there is a mechanical apparatus just past the fairground wall, and fans should interact with the device in the model to open the wall in regular size. They should now proceed through that new opening in order to find a blue stand, which will transform into a key. This key should be used to open the final locked gate in the main area before it is taken to the model in this free PS Plus game for March 2021.

At this point, players should place the key across the gap in the pathway that is beyond the gate that they just unlocked. They should then cross that key in regular size to approach the building with pink trees, which may remind some fans of The Witness, in front and trigger a cutscene. When that cutscene concludes, players should again return to the maquette, pickup the key, and drop it just outside of the dome.

Players will now find a small key within the model, which they should use to unlock the small version of the purple house with the red door. They should then drop the small key in an easily accessible location within the maquette and then go collect the key from that spot in regular size. Now all that is left to do is use that key to bridge the gap in the model that leads to the purple house and enter that structure in regular size.

Maquette is available now for PC, PS4, and PS5.
