How To Fix Hunters Not Hunting

Manor Lords Hunting Camp

Hunting in Manor Lords is a fundamental activity essential for securing food and crafting materials within your settlement. By constructing Hunting Camps and assigning workers to hunt wild animals in designated areas, you can ensure a steady supply of meat and hides.

When it comes to hunting, caution is necessary, including determining the appropriate amount of hunting to avoid depleting the animal population and ensuring your Hunting Camps are at the right spot. And if you still see that your hunters are not being productive, there are a few fixes mentioned below that will keep them on track.

Adjust The Hunting Limit

Sometimes, if your hunters aren't hunting, it might be because you've set up a hunting limit, and they might have reached that limit and stopped. To solve this, you could increase the hunting limit at your Hunting Camp, so they can continue hunting.

Relocate Your Hunting Camps

Another reason your hunters might not be actively hunting could be the location of your Hunting Camp. Wild animals usually move away from areas if you place your Hunting Camps inside the red border of their habitat. To avoid this, try relocating your Hunting Camp outside the red border of the Wild Animal area, so the animals stay nearby and within reach.

Set Up A Granary For Extra Storage

Ensuring you have enough space to store the stuff your hunters bring in is crucial. If the storage at your Hunting Camp is full, your hunters might stop bringing stuff in. To deal with it, build up a Granary in your settlement to store food items.

Check Your Hunter’s Duties

Another reason could be that the male workers are busy with defensive duties because they've been recruited into your militia. To get them back to hunting, you'll need to temporarily disband your militia.

Make Sure Your Camp Is Linked To The Road

If you notice your hunters aren't going out to hunt, it might be because your Hunting Camp isn't properly connected to the road. To fix this, you will need to build a road that will connect your Camp with your settlement.
