A man has been arrested in Thailand after allegedly chasing a female Twitch streamer Justketh. For those who don't know, IRL streams are live broadcasts of people's everyday lives, usually broadcasted through platforms like Twitch and YouTube. IRL streams are often compared to reality television, but there are some key differences; for example, IRL streams are live and unedited, which gives them the rawness and authenticity that reality TV lacks. However, IRL streaming is not for everyone, as evidenced by popular Twitch streamer Emiru who recently said she has no interest in IRL streaming.IRL streaming can be funny, entertaining, and even sometimes weird, as one can never predict what might happen during a live broadcast. Sometimes, streamers will do things that are totally unexpected, and this can lead to some truly hilarious moments. Other times, streamers will have to deal with unexpected situations, like technical difficulties or unexpected visitors, or potentially worse situations like recently when it was reported that Twitch streamer Skill Specs broke his collarbone in a bicycle accident during an IRL stream.RELATED: Amouranth Confronted by Stalkers at TwitchConIn a new such event, a Thai female Twitch streamer named Justketh was chased by a man while she was streaming in a resort. Various clips of the event have gone viral on the internet, but the one that is receiving the most attention is the clip showing the man chasing Justketh aggressively. According to Justketh, the man in the video had asked her to sit with him and when she refused, he became agitated. He started yelling, chased her, and even threw her stuff in the hotel pool. Later, she reported the incident to the authorities and the man was arrested by the police.

This is just the latest in a string of incidents involving IRL streamers being harassed or attacked while broadcasting. Back in December 2019, it was reported that a Twitch IRL streamer was threatened with a knife during a live stream in Cape Town, South Africa. These incidents serve as a reminder of the dangers that IRL streamers face on a daily basis.

Harassment of any kind is never acceptable and measures should always be taken to prevent such events from happening in the first place. In October 2022, it was reported that Nintendo Japan decided to not fix products for those customers who threaten or harass its staff. This decision was made in response to increasing reports of harassment and abuse directed toward Nintendo's employees. Nintendo's decision to take a stand against this type of behavior is a good example of how businesses can confront harassment head-on.
