August brings a host of big games, many of which have big fan bases that have been waiting for a long time. This includes Volition's Saints Row, which reboots the series. The game takes gamers to Santo Ileso where they cobble together a new gang to take on the other gangs and eventually seize control of the city. Gamers have already gotten a taste of the game through Saints Row Boss Factory which lets players design the playable character they will use in the game. The game will take on a more grounded tone compared to Saints Row 4's wackiness, and it remains to be seen how fans will react to this change. Saints Row launches on August 23 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Sony has been porting plenty of its games to PC, allowing a greater audience to experience its titles. Past games that have gotten this treatment include Days Gone, God of War, and Horizon Zero Dawn. In August, Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered will also be leaping to PC. Peter Parker's adventure was successful on PlayStation, and the remaster spruced it up by introducing more graphical options and including all the DLCs that have been released. PC players will be receiving all these perks on August 12.

Simulation games have been quite popular lately, with titles like Lawn Mowing Simulator and PowerWash Simulator accumulating significant followings. From Two-Point Studios, the developers of Two Point Hospital, gamers can expect Two Point Campus. The game is a business simulator that has players building and managing a university campus. Gameplay will involve appointing staff in addition to taking care of the students and handling finances and other factors. Players are under no obligation to make their university normal, and courses such as Knight School will be on offer. Two Point Campus will be available on August 9 for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

The Destroy All Humans! franchise was successful when it began in 2005, and it drew attention to itself for its humor and the freedom it gave players to wreak havoc. However, after Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon in 2008, the franchise went on hiatus. Fortunately, it was revived with a remake of the first game in 2020, and gamers can now expect a remake of the sequel, Destroy All Humans! 2, which will be available on August 30 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
