Magic Legends is back this weekend with yet another exciting limited time event. Similar to the last one, this event is themed around the game's World Enchantment system and offers planeswalkers who are engaged with the beta testing a chance to craft up to three additional World Enchantments per day. Players who want to take advantage of the event's features are going to have to act fast though.

The Magic Legends beta has been running for just over a month and the development team has managed to gather a ton of feedback, implement some very impactful bug fixes and quality of life improvements, and manage to start firing off limited time events. That's not bad considering some other games that have taken nearly a full year to start offering special events. This weekend's event offers a perfect opportunity for players who are looking for an extra challenge and have progressed beyond the basic introductory storyline in the ARPG testing.

For those who didn't participate in the last event and are unaware of World Enchantments, they are an interesting and important piece of the Magic Legends gameplay loop, especially for players who are putting in a ton of hours and playing repeat content. The opportunity to pick up some extra ones each day is definitely something that many players would find valuable. The activity window only has a few hours left, so players should jump right in if they haven't been on the grind all weekend already.

World Enchantment Weekend Date and Time

Thursday, May 6, 2021, at 7:00 AM PDT/10:00 AM EDT/4:00 PM CEST through Monday, May 10, 2021, at 10:00 AM PDT/1:00 PM EDT/7:00 PM CEST

World Enchantment Weekend Event Features

Planeswalkers can craft up to three additional World Enchantments each day of the event at the Aetheric Core in their Realm.

These event-specific World Enchantments will heavily alter aspects of your health and mana that greatly challenge how you might approach the battlefield to survive.

Scholar's Benefit prevents passive healing between engagements, but healing spells and drawing cards will replenish your health pool.

Color Alliance requires thoughtful construction of two-color decks, as base mana regen is reduced by 50%, but casting a spell of one of your deck’s colors provides 1 mana of the other color in your deck composition.

Event-specific enchantments are crafted at the Aetheric Core, rather than the Prophetic Quill.

What is a World Enchantment?

World Enchantments add powerful, world-altering effects that can add further depth to your gameplay. They are consumable, single-use items that attach to story and ordeal mission maps.

Players can craft World Enchantments with earned materials gathered through gameplay or purchase them at the Consignment Broker.

There are three different tiers, with each tier increasing raw enemy and map difficulty, while the enchantment enhances the complexity of your encounters.

It seems like that should be everything players need to know to dive into the second ever World Enchantment Weekend event. Be sure to keep an eye here and on the officially channels for any surprise features or changes that might pop up over the next couple of days as things progress and for word on which event will arrive next for Magic Legends.

The event will only be live for a few days, so be sure to login and take advantage of it while it's around. There is still no full release date available for the game and it's unclear exactly when the Xbox and Playstation versions are going to be available. Hopefully PC and console gamers can see a full release sometime in late 2021.

Magic: Legends is available now as an open beta on PC, and releases fully in 2021 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
