Madame Web is another upcoming live-action Marvel film that is being distributed by Sony Pictures, and many are wondering what the plot of the Spider-Man spinoff film will be. Thanks to some photo leaks that were taken from behind the scenes, fans may have a better idea as to who the antagonist will be.

Madame Web historically has always been a supporting character for Spider-Man, and it's not too often that one will see her as someone that would be the star of her own story. Despite this, she has a lot to offer and fans will get the chance to see this on the big screen. Madame Web follows in the steps of the other Spider-Man Universe films like Morbius, which all have typically followed villains or anti-heroes connected to Spider-Man. Despite being in the world of the famous web crawler, it was never enough to make them blow away fans, but hopefully, Madame Web will change that.

Thanks to a couple of photographs from Just Jared, fans can see what's going on with a supposed fight scene in Madame Web. It's unclear as to who the character fighting Celeste O'Connor's stunt double is supposed to be, but many are expecting him to be the villain of the film. The photographers also listed Dakota Johnson's character Julia Carpenter as lying unconscious on a separate platform for the fight scene.

These Madame Web leaks can be very cool or exciting at the moment but at the same time, they run the risk of spoiling the plot for fans. This could've been a very crucial moment in the film and now fans know what to expect. There's also a chance this was just a rehearsal for something that ultimately won't be used in the final product. Either way, hopefully, Madame Web is well received in the wake of the ongoing conversation of superhero fatigue.

It's not known if this version of Madame Web will meet Tom Holland's Spider-Man, but it's a common theory that many are running with. Others think this Madame Web will interact with Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man or even Tobey Maguire's. It's not clear how Disney and Sony will be handling their shared characters moving forward. They've both been disagreeing on a number of things but have seemingly come to a working relationship as of now.

Madame Web is scheduled to be released in theaters on February 16, 2024.
