In a post on Reddit, a Nintendo fan known as Molassiver shared their painting based on the Luigi’s Mansion games. The picture starred Luigi, who was clutching the nozzle of his Poltergust. The artist revealed that the fan art was an acrylic painting, and they elected to go with a black-and-white color palette. While Molassiver’s design encapsulated the nervous personality of the titular character, it was the background of the image that made it stand out. When shining a UV light on the image, a group of sinister Boos appeared behind Luigi.

Fortunately, Molassiver quickly responded, noting the effect was achieved by using black-light nail polish, which was invisible when applied to the painting.
